    These ‘supposedly’ ace+++ ships with their items seem to struggle down in master.

    Which is WHY WE MASTER PLAYERS CANT LEVEL UP!

    Yes. Which is why BATTLE BAY NEEDS TO ADD A GEAR SCORE FOR REWARDS SYSTEM TO GET THE LAZY SHOOTERS OFF THIER BUTT! AND ACTUALLY TRY!

    No. Reasons all explained very clearly through the events and other gear score matchmaking rant threads.


    Those Ace players in Master league could be players who suddenly shot up in infamy but we're unable to maintain it, and thus fell back down.

    The transition from Master --> Ace is no easy feat, but is definitely possible! It also took me a long time to get into Ace; I remember there were many seasons when I was sooo close to 2300 but was just short of 100-200 infamy. Heck, there was even one time when my season high was 2296 infamy! It really felt like the game was taunting me, and in the midst of these just-a-little-more seasons I actually dropped back down to Master III for about 2 weeks. But eventually I slowly climbed my way back up, and made it into Ace with just a few points of infamy to spare. Grind hard, be patient and you'll get there too :)
