Nightmare infamy reset to under 4k

    Yesterday, I played until about 4 hours before infamy reset. I had around 4420 or 4450 infamy. I turned the game off after I got killed in a battle.

    When I logged in after infamy reset (4 hours later), the Defeat! flag popped on screen, and my infamy dropped 24 points to 3976.

    Why doesn't infamy adjust for all players at the conclusion of the battle?

    That sure must be a bug or did the infamy reset happen while you were still battling and the result was yet to come?

    No, I had turned the game off around noon or 1'ish and in my time zone reset isn't until 5. I hadn't let the match complete, or selected "exit to bay", I just turned the game off after I died.

    I brought the game back on around 5:30 or later (it had been off for at least 4 hours). When the bay screen appeared, after loading screen, the little defeat flag popped in and my infamy was at 3976.

    When a match ends the result goes into a queue to be processed the next time you enter the hub.

    So what happened:
    1. Battle starts.
    2. You die and disconnect.
    3. Result of the match goes into queue (rewards, infamy loss etc).
    4. Infamy reset happens.
    5. You log in and the queue gets processed. You get resources and 24 infamy points gets reduced from you.

    Thanks for the explain. :)

    If you hit start next game several times, when do the infamy and rewards process?

    If I'm on a defeat streak, is my infamy adjusted at the close of the lost match while I'm still in battle in the next? Or is the infamy adjustment held until the next time I return to the hub.
