    Hi,
I am new to this forum and new to the game too. I've just been playing this game for a month after almost 4 years in Asphalt 8. I believe this game just came to the US. I watched some videos and has been amazed by the strategies of the top players. Too bad those strategies rarely work at the lower levels.

I am dangling around 700-900 infamy and will be level 21 in few hours. Any tip/advice is welcome.

Just a few questions for the veterans.
I am current have MK3 on all ships. Golds are not coming fast enough. Should I save the golds for MK4 ships or buying pieces/perks to upgrade my weapons?
I have couple Epic weapons (Ballpark and Berta) and few Rare weapons. Is it better to upgrade Uncommon weapons to higher levels since it's easier to get the pieces? I am being greedy and put all my resources into the Rare and Epic weapons.

Lastly, I am dreaming of owning a Legendary cannon. One can always dream right? :p

Do not waste resources on epics at the moment. They just arent worth it at that level.Focus on your rares.Do not spend gold on upgrading every ship.Choose two main ships for now and when you have excess gold you can upgrade other ships.I say this because using gold to get item pieces and parts in the shop is very important.I have all the rare weapons I use at Tier 2 and one of them Tier 3 aswell because I buy every item piece in the shop.As for your mk4 ugrade choose your most played/favorite ship to upgrade for now.Use the remaining gold to level up weapons on that ship by buying parts. And lastly you can definetly get a legendary weapon if you are willing to spend a MINIMUM of 1500$ lol.

Thanks Ghost. I did upgrades my Epic weapons because I kept getting excess in sugar. I think that's a bad idea just because I might get some sort of Epic cannon then I'll be out of Epic resources.
A legendary weapon will cost about $400, if you're somewhat lucky. A legendary piece in the 3,900 pearls box. With my luck of combining, there is no way I am spending that $400. I got an Epic Berta, a Rare Berta, and a Rare Carronade in my 3 combines. Not much into any of it so I sold the Carronade. Berta takes too long to reload.

Yes thats what I meant. You wont get red legendary pieces continuously. And I personally dont like the bertha.Long cooldown, very long impact time aswell. My favorite is the standard mortar.I have a T3 rare one and its does about 500 damage. The best part is the cooldown is only 9 seconds and its projectile is faster than the bertha.

I have 2 standard mortars (Uncommon and Rare) waiting to get into tier 3. I think I'll train Mortimer next to get to level 14, which opens level 3 for mortars.
I would like to get the Shooter to MK4 so I can load 2 cannons and 2 mortars into it. I also would like to learn to use a torpedo. That way I can be prepare for all maps.

I would not recommend two mortars. They are horrible in close combat situations. But yes go for the torpedo...once mastered it is extremely deadly. Also beware if you fire a torpedo at point blank range it wont hit your enemy. It needs a minimum travel time to do damage just like how mines need a minimum arming time.

I am no pro but I think Level 21 in 700-900 range seems low. Gotta work on your game.

I have a sniper cannon and a regular cannon for close combat at the end. In those situation, a mortar can redirect your enemy. Since I am still new, I am just going to roll the dice on maps with that setup. I am still learning to master the steering.

Team first. Always play with the team. Don't matter if you deal 0 damage as long as you get the win.

Know your role. Your role changes for every ship. Probably choose 1 or 2 ship that you love playing.

Know the map. Positioning matters. Familiarize them.

Lastly, don't be a hero :D and don't dive into the enemies haha

You'll find that the wins will come easier if you follow this.

I'm at lvl 16 with 1500+ infamy in less than 400 battles. It's nothing compared to the real veterans here but I can probably help a fellow newbie a thing or two.

I sometimes dove into and right through the enemy with speeder taking about 500-800 HP hoping my teammates can launch everything they have at the enemy. Sometimes it works out, sometimes don't. I watched some videos of strategies from top players but most of it not working at the lower levels.

I am getting use to maps but positioning need to improve, A LOT. Thanks.

I use a speeder too. I recommend not diving right through the enemy, instead circle them with enough distance or move from side to side in front of them. This way, you'll be harder to hit.

Sup, just a small tip for the speeder, going ahead and drawing fire is, of course beneficial for the team as they can just blast away at distracted opponents. BUT (sorry about the caps but this is important) if you run in too fast, your team can't catch up and can't even get into range to help you out. When playing with the speeder, I'd recommend staying with the team to start off, after you can see the enemy's positioning, quickly leave your team's formation to flank around the enermy. Keep moving and changing positions, finish off low health enemy and target the fixer, be a general nuisance, this way they have no choice but to focus fire on you, as a result your team can just storm them and win.
