Yeah if it wasnt for fixers having low contribution( they get a low amount of stars) I would be using it.

He quit the game. Sewah has put it on hold so I can't fight them. I beat Pastel Piku though:p eventhough he was a mk6 with two weapons.

I know that they don't play now but it would be awesome to watch, imho it would never end as you both could heal yourself to almost full hp

They could equip a repair box which still helps them or a repair pulse. At least then it would be worth tagging along with a selfish fixer

I used to hate selfish fixers but not anymore now that I am in NM. There are less people up here so you can recognize one when you see him/her. They are entitle to play however they wish. The only reason why it's bad on the lower end is because you can't recognize them. I can't tell you how many I died protecting a selfish fixer before I got to ACE1 only to realize at the end of battle they are selfish fixers.

Repair pulse is better on selfish fixers.
Lol yeah once there was this guy named [something] that I happened to be in the same game with 3 times, and he was selfish. The team that had him in it lost each time. He ran a flare and always did the most damage though

    Box and tape talents clash.

    Edit:
Also, tagging along with a selfish fixer can be a good thing. I remember there was once when I had an ultimate selfish fixer on my team in Damage Depot. He was really good! At the start of the match he headed straight for capture while spamming "capture!"; I thought he was just some other noob but followed him anyway. Idk what dark magic he did but he managed to bully the enemy quite badly while I did my usual enforcer peekaboo thing and basically provided cover fire until the rest of the team arrived. Later after the enemy was weakened enough he led the final push into their base. In the end, he got top damage and a well deserved 3 stars :)

I am a speeder and sometimes when I see a selfish fixer, I target it thinking it's a selfless fixer until I die or realise they are using duct tape.

    Duct tape can fix anything.

A lot of the time the team never cares about the fixer.
This leads to loss of infamy .Do you blame the fixer..?
    Of course not.
It's the teams mistake(usually shooter but I won't argue about that)
    So they switch to tapes.
If u don't want tapes try to save ur fixer instead of expect them to follow u and heal u all the time like ur personal medic

Does the selfish fixer have more stars than a normal fixer?

Lol I guess I'm curious to hear both sides of that question
I WANT people to know I run triple tape lol. I don't care if they hate me for it, that's their loss if they don't want to adapt to their teammates' playstyles.
Too bad he quit lol. Seeing him run triple tape is what inspired me to do so (that and tanking infamy by the 1000s on bad luck streaks since a support healer is useless on their own).
I get 3 stars much more often when running selfish as opposed to my alternative bipulse setup.

Yes, and as a speeder there should be a system where you have to equip a standard mortar. Maybe it will become popular again.

Another thread for selfish fixer, nicely!!!

    I like being Selfish Fixer,
The satisfaction 1vs many and the adrenaline rush when everyone try to kill you with ur hp getting lower......it's like......hard to explain....

Nowadays I tend to be just selfish fixer (SF) with 1 pulse; not because I don't like being USF (Ultimate SF) it's because I want more star.
High Damage + Some Healing = more star :)

What he said was perfectly civil. He extended the logic to illustrate a point. And he did it without calling names or making him feel bad. I thought it was an excellent post.
