I have an idea on the rivalry matchmaking to make guild shifting not worth while. Make it harder to game the system. Add RNG to it.

Before calculating the guild rivalry, have RNG selects between the 2 methods (old and current). Old system matching by strength and current system matching by highest quests complete in the last 2 rivalries. There will be no way for the players to know what matchmaking will be used for the next rivalry so gaming the system might or might not help. Shifting guilds will no longer have the advantages they are having now.

Another tweak to this matchmaking is to set the floor for the number of quest complete for when calculating by quest complete. The number will be based on global rank.
Guilds that ranks less than 5000 have no floor or zero. <5k to 1k = 12 quests. <1k-500 = 24 quests. <500-100 = 36 quests. <100-26 = 48 quests. And 59 for the top 25 guilds. The numbers are reasonable for the guild strengths. This prevents any gaming the system when selecting guild rivalry based on quests completed. Preventing disparity in strength when a few top guilds facing guilds around the mid-hundredths.

RNG - Random Number Generator.... Basically the magical algorithms that decide pretty much all aspects of item progression in this game (duplicates etc)
    All hail the mighty RNGesus

Thanks for the info. Even after playing for a year I didn't knew.
