    Hey! I’m just about to hit mk4 speeder, and was wondering if I should use a torpedo build including a carronade to slow, and a big torpedo, or if I should use my current build.

    Blast flare is better because at mk4, you're too fragile to go duelling with torps. Sure, at mk5, torp carro becomes pretty good, but personally, I'd use torp sniper because of the way both weps complement one another.

    Hi dude,
    I dont use carronade. So I didnt know much about carronade. In ur poll I voted for flare+ blast. But my suggestion is blast + big torp. Good luck;)

    Blast BT shares a lil weakness I found out while playing with that combo, actually. You can waste your full attack burst without doing any damage sometimes. Sniper is a really good "insurance weapon" compared to blast.

    However, IF you have the event perks for both speed and frost for the blast, use it 100%. But they better be epic or better...

    current build is good but i would swap stun out for nitro if i were you just for that extra mobility
    flare blast is good like snipey said, builds at my level dish out around 800-900 dmg per clock(flare shot then blast shot)
    although SC BT is a favorite (1200 dmg per clock) BT is unreliable in terms of guaranteeing a hit while flare bc is relatively accurate

    Torp sniper? I was thinking using swift’s Ability to slow for 3 seconds with the carronade. The slow would benefit the torp more than a sniper right?

    I am also using snipe + big torp. Just by seeing his inventry I suggest blast + big torp. :):):)

    Alright! I think I will just play around with everything. Quick question though. As a free to play player, I have been wondering how u guys get so many perks. The ones I get are always uncommon coming from the shop

    That's actually a misconception. See, you think you can land shots like that, however it's really niché and rare to see someone ACTUALLY doing it.

    With a big torp, you want to be midrange with your opponent, moving very fast and actively targeting. This in turn generates a gap for your target to attack you, at a time when you cannot possibly dodge, since shot leading with a big torp is a four second or so worth of time period.

    This calculation for the torpedo alone means clearly that you would like to maintain safe distance from the enemy(the farther you are, the less accurate they will be) meaning that a carro has no place on the torpspeeder.

    Ofc, at mk6 with a good rudder, it's a different story. You can carro-nitro 180°-turn-shoot in a 7-8 second time frame using turret slow as a status effect on the carro to slow down the enemy's window of attack, quickly re-carroing and 180°ing with the nitro again... HOWEVER at mk4 you lack any of the needed pieces of gear to pull this set off.

    Snipe comes into the equation as an "insurance" weapon for those situations where your opponent is fleeing, low health, and needs to be put down(this occurs more often than you might think, with big torps). Also, its ability as a no-calculation weapon so that the gap between targeting and firing is minimum, even in ranged plays(which, again, occur more often than you might think) is unparalleled.

    Also, personally, I would say the most top tier weapon combo you can use on a mk4 speeder is the dreaded "double barrel" dual blast combo. The DPS and burst values are OFF. THE. CHARTS.

    Also the training required for carronade negatively impacts the speeder a lot if you change it from boosting speeder to boosting carronade. I tried it myself and I couldn't use my speeder very well at all! In the end I switched it back and gave it up for a bad idea. I used sniper epic lvl 40 and big torp rare lvl 40 and got to 2600 infamy with this at mk5 speeder so yes that method works very well!

    It's hard to put into words WHY snipe torp works, actually. It's a HUGE LIST of things that just get waaaaaaaay better with a snipe as your insurance gun.

    big protip, save up 200k tokens to the max then spend it all at once, if you spend them in the lucky draw straight away everytime you have enough, you will only end up with low end rewards
    think of it as farming, the more u till the soil, the better stuff you get, and this is true for the lucky draw since continuous drawing produces better rewards
    but if you till a bit everytime then leave it, youll only ever get ok stuff not the good stuff
    so save up a cr@pton of tokens and go for it, youll get loads of good sh!t

    If you intend to continue with torp, keep a sniper cannon benched. You're deffo gonna need one. I could only make 1.5k on the blast BT if I remember correctly

    Hopefully this works, this is my recent game with sniper and big torp shows how to use it, ignore the bubble it can be done the same without it but involves retreating to a fixer instead.
