Script for the Movie

Yeah I read it. I don’t wanna have the ship get hit with a grenade. That’s too abrupt. They just got out of the fire and I wanna make a break in time before they fight again. Set the pace for the rest of the script.

17. I don’t know about you guys, but I think they’re screwed.

(MORNING, the Carthaginian base is in sight and the sun is just coming over the salty warm part of the bay. Captain Cryix rings a bell to alarm everyone on the ship that the base is in sight. Swift is the first one from the bunkers.)


Swift:

Finally we’re home! That trip felt like forever. Hey Cryix!


Cryix:

Good Morning little one.



(Bhurt walks up the stairs sluggishly)


Swift:

Goodmorning


Bhurt:

Goodmorning

(turns to Cryix)

Goodmorning Cryix



Cryix:

(with pride and honor)

Good morning Captain. We are 32 miles out from dock


Bhurt:

Wonderful. Take a rest Captain. You deserve it. I’ll take it from here


Cryix:

Thank you so much Captain



(Bhurt takes the wheel and guides the boat in a safe direction towards the docks.)


Bhurt:

(to Swift)

Come here. I wanna tell you something


Swift:

Someone doesn’t look as grumpy as usual today. What happened?


Bhurt:

(chuckles)

A realization. I don’t have that much time with you, and I wanna give you the best. You seem to like Yves. So. What if she taught some tricks to the speeder?


Swift:

Really?


Bhurt:

Well I won’t for sure. I haven’t touched that boat in millenia. But they seem to know what they’re talking about.


Swift:

Awesome


Bhurt:

Well, I have been rude to you lately. I’ve been stressed out is all.


Swift:

That’s ok. I probably haven’t been helping.


Bhurt:

No you’re fine, but lets just hope the men we’re bringing back with us are the right ones.


Swift:

Well you always have good instincts


Bhurt:

(laughs)

Brock:

Good morning


Bunta

Good morning everyone

Yves:

Hello


(Brock, Bunta, and yves have made their way up the stairs to the top of the of deck followed by the AntiSnipe and Blue.)


Bhurt:

Good morning everyone


Bunta:

Wow, so that’s Carthage.


Brock:

Yup. Home base.


AntiSnipe:

Isn’t that where the Harbormaster is?


Bhurt:

Yes. He does reside here. Everyone we are 24 miles from docking.


Brock:

Awesome, because I am hungry.


Blue:

Same


(brock and blue share a nice look)


Bunta:

This place better not be lame


Yves:

Bunta!


Bunta:

I’m just saying, it’d be pretty disappointing if we drove 289 miles just to see a broken down warehouse on ice.


Bhurt:

Well I can confirm for you Bunta that this place is no worn down warehouse. This is the real deal. This...is Carthage.


(Cut later in the morning, the boat moves up to the dock where it is greeted with helpers to pull it in.)


Bhurt:

Alright everyone off board. We’re docked. And can someone please wake up Cryix. Poor fellow. Fell asleep.


(Swift goes over and wakes up Cryix. Everyone on the ship gets off and starts following Brock and Bhurt toward the main hall entrance to the ship yard. The rogues look up at Carthage with great aw and shock. The enter the hallway and a little ways in Bhurt is stopped by a working guard.)


Guard:

Sir. The Harbormaster wants to see you at once.


Bhurt:

Wow, words spreads quickly. Brock take them to the living quarters and find them some space. If there’s no space, then have some of them room up with our crew.


Swift:

I’ll take Yves as a rooming buddy


Yves:

I don’t mind that


Bhurt:

Well just figure it out. I’ll be back later.


(Cut scene to Bhurt walking up the Harbormaster‘s door to his office. He knocks and the door opens.)


Harbormaster:

Come in Captain


Bhurt:

Good Afternoon Sir


Harbormaster:

Good Afternoon Captain. How was the trip?


Bhurt:

Oh just fine


Harbormaster:

Find any Information?


Bhurt:

I think we have something now


Harbormaster:

Good. Well let’s see if you can answer my questions for you


Bhurt:

Ok?


Harbormaster:

Are you aware that you are not allowed to bring in people from other areas of the bay unless we are in dire need of recruits?


Bhurt:

These men are out information. They worked for Douglas. They know more about the enemy than we probably do.


Harbormaster:

Well that’s good. But that’s no excuse for your actions.


Bhurt:

What?


(The Harbormaster throws a paper at Bhurt’s feet. The headline reads Guild 9 Attack on Niento)


Bhurt:

Sir


Harbormaster:

What is the meaning of this? I ask you to be quiet and you make the front page?


Bhurt:

Sir you were aware of the risks even before we went to Niento. Why are you mad now?


Harbormaster:

Because now anyone who works for Gaia knows exactly what we were doing there.


However you are lucky.


Bhurt:

What do you mean?


Harbormaster:

Bhurt’s crew has been working very hard. We can attack now. A good attack on their fleet will surely give us some more time. And with these men you have brought in, they say they know Gaia very well.


Bhurt:

And the weapons. As well as the railgun.


Harbormaster:

Well then get to work. Who knows, Gaia could be heading our way right now for an attack because of this headline.


Bhurt:

I’m sorry sir


Harbormaster:

No need to be, just get those ships on the bay Captain.


Bhurt:

Yes sir


(Right before Bhurt leaves, the Harbormaster stops him)


Harbormaster:

Bhurt do you know why I chose you?


Bhurt:

No sir why?


Harbormaster:

Because you’re a great leader. Don’t be afraid to lead Bhurt. I trust you.


Bhurt:

Thank you Sir


Harbormaster:

Thank YOU Captain

You’re coming. You’re an engineer. You’ll play a major role later towards the end of the movie. I promise dude. But your character should get mentioned or seen in the next script post.

Should anyone with talents (obvious not me, wish I could lol) be able to make a real movie of this? Maybe post it somewhere else to get the credits, but it’s about the idea lol
Nice story btw, didn’t read even 1 out, because it’s too long for a slow reader, but still nice!

 

Too risky for Rovio to make a movie out a game that doesn't really get much attention. They could say "from the makers of Angry Birds" though. I'm not sure.
