    12 hours a day wasn't even enough to get the Legendary. 12 hours x 4 tickets x 3 days = 144 tickets to get 100 wins. Good luck with that. The reward structure was insulting to players.

    Considering it uses gear score for matchmaking, the only issue is if gear score is not calculated accurately by BB. For me I REALLY enjoyed the challenge to choose the right boat and gear combo... much more exciting than going with the same old boat and the same old gear.

    Love this thread. Finally got a chance to comment on hot topics here.

    -Didn't take long for top players to realize that playing with less weapons or a common turbo gives and advantage. Its clear that infamy has its pros and cons and gear score does. Why not just merge the two. Maybe average them and them match according to that? I have 8k gear and 2k infamy so i should be 5k score matched. If a pro wanted to dumb down to 8k gear but had 4k infamy they would match with 6k score. Seems like a solution to me. Might need more of a formula than just averaging though.

    -New mode is fun but COMPLETELY loses the fleet concept. The entire team was drawn to legendary perks and I saw no one the whole event. As a player I can be ok with this, but as a guild member our quests when to trash since we depend on that 2x bonus. Yes with higher pacing and damage is supposed to counter this but as an enforcer main, my 1 point weps were not balancing this out. Please find some way to promote fleeting even in events. I would even accept a reduced fleet bonus. Fleeting is critical to the game's community.

    -Back to gear score, if we keep matching with this we need to find a way to balance 1 point and 2 point weapons. A max turbo cannot add the same score as a max big torp.

    -Rewards. I hate to admit it, but maybe rewards need to go back to RNG? It at least gives common folk a change for glory the same as big spenders. Dont get me wrong I like the idea of putting in hard work and getting an earned prize, but I couldn't get an epic perk on either event, and yet some players are running two legendaries. Its frustrating to say the least. Maybe have events earn medals (yet another currency!) and there is a prize room where you can cash them in for a perk. This will allow me to save my medals from event to event, I could choose to get a bunch of rare perks or save for a legendary etc. Different events will give out medals based on different criteria. Complete tier 1 get 5 medals, tier 2 get 10, 3 get 25, and 4 get 50. Legendary prize box costs 100 medals or something. You get the idea.

    Back to waiting for the next event....

    I was dealing 2x the damage, 3x the kills and a higher win rate than normal matches so I personally think it worked well for guild contributions. It definitely varied by player though... some guild mates had much lower stats and were extremely frustrated. This particular event did require adapting your load out, but many never figured out what worked for them.

    A few really excellent ideas here!

    - not the infamy great score 'average' though... I'm a purist for just infamy...

    - it'd be nice to find a way to incorporate fleeting into these events!

    - gear score is deeply flawed... But comparing different items to each other is nearly impossible (meaning, I doubt you'd get much agreement on which is more useful, that turbo or that big torp). However, the easy fix is to make great score rise at the same place as the stats of the item as it levels up. Oh, and recalibrate the scores on perks!

    - I absolutely LOVE your idea about saving up 'medals' between events to save up for something you really want (like from a shop to spend your medals). LOVE IT!!!

    Yeah, I even doubled my damage record, I've never done so much damage. But I do not think I lost because I'm bad because with infa of 3.8k in mk5, you have to be strategic.

    Agreed... I have noticed, for example, when an item is lvl 30 and ready to evolve, it has a higher gear score than the evolved item at level 31... What's up with that? By this method I could technically lower my gear score, albeit by not much, by having used any items I have that are just evolved. So lvl 11, lvl 21, lvl 31 etc...
