Special Event Rant

Anyone get these teammates who once respawned charge back out into the open and get absolutely massacred. Then respawn and repeat. THAT IS THE WORST FKing strategy out there holy shit! EVERY TIME YOU WASTE YOUR LIFE IT COUNTS TOWARDS THE TEAM! YOU DO NOT RESPAWN FOREVER.
*also count deaths on the total page to point towards those people who are dragging the team down

 

No kidding... I haven't seen that a lot but I just recently ranted to my guild after a battle where I never died and dealt the most damage, but we lost. How? My teammates obviously died 4 times each. The goal is NOT TO DIE if you want to win the match.

Repeat: Dying gives your opponents a point. DO NOT DIE.

 

This is a brawl. If you're not dying once in a brawl, maybe you're the reason the team lost. You're letting your teammates being focus on and die while you hang back forever and spamming. There are strategies for this and it heavily depend on who you have as teammates and maps. I know people who play the same style no matter the situation.

 

The name of the game is to stay alive. If you die more than twice, you are a burden to the team because you put your teammates in a position where they can die 2 or less times each. It's really that simple, regardless of play style.

 

Just lost without dying and doing the most damage. Makes sense.

Was able to 2 legendary boxes when it was stars without much trouble, now I’ll be lucky to just get 1. I would’ve gotten 3 if I wasn’t losing last event also.

Please learn how to play TDM, or maybe some more tweaks next event

The purpose is not to not die, it is to kill faster than you die. It's not always work that way. You win some, you lose some. If you don't die once in a match, that means you're not being focus on. You should make your shots in those cases. I had match last week that I was full health when we slaughtered the other team.

 

I edited my post with replay and stuff,but yes I guess I could’ve tried to use my carronade and then die to the invincible respawns, but otherwise I can’t build anything better for this event, but regardless of my shortcomings this matchmaking is supposed to be based on power so 0deaths and top damage in the game and lighting the enemy on fire Is at least pulling my weight

Dealing damage won't help. It never helps in ranked too. Eliminate enemies fast that doesn't mean rush into battle and evaporate. Just now score was 7-7 and our speeder went in to get a kill got slaughtered, I was lining up railgun to hit final blow but..

 

Yep and when your fixer is spamming together and they have none stop charging to their spawn point. It suicide.
I miss the stars rather than wins I would have my epic perk by now not my uncommon one.

GNHNGNGN Balance fixers!!! I understand that it will be tough to make matches have the same number of fixers on both sides, but at least consider their healing items more in the matchmaking algorithm! Just look at this battle:

Just one look at the boats pre-match and you already know which side would win. Double bolt fixer + 2 big blue boats = A glorious one sided massacre. Luckily we had a fixer on our side, or we would have died in like... 2 minutes. Fix the fixer matching!!

That may be some people, but i play a standard cannon firebomb combo so its kinda hard to sit back. Ive always died in games, but only once or twice usually. I have speeders on my teams dying 4 times to finish off some low hp guy

 

That's probably a bad speeder or he/she was just having bad game. Depend on your gear score, but at the higher end, standard cannon in DM is definitely not a good idea.

 

Im not that good lmao around the 2400 imfany range. But when you have no epic sniper cannons or blasts id take the 700 dmg a pop(with fire boost)

 

Today I am getting every noob shooter from every noob country who hasn't tried the mode yet and is in a hurry to die. Alternatively, Rovio stuffs the game with bots just to fluff with us

 

I had you as enemy a few times today.

 

It's worse when your team wants to constantly push and backs enemy team into thier spawn! Then each time 1 dies your team mates are left 2 v 3 while you cover the entire map to get back and help lol often another dies and it's 1 v 3 while they're running cross country event getting back again in time for thier 1 v 3 attempt lol it's like a slow paced game of lemmings for the team sitting back in thier spawn lol they just casually shoot 1 ship at a time with next turning up just in time to see his buddy die lol

This event is pure trash....... I’ve bought one round of ticket and will not buy anymore.
