I've been using the enforcer for a couple days now, and everyone I've ever talked to about enforcers is always like, "lol enforcer is trash u r noob." I've been getting top damage on my team, and am never really hit because of its speed capabilities. I just want to know why people say the enforcer is so bad?

Frankly I think that the Enforcer is a cross between a speeder and shooter. This allows it to have speedier movements without losing its shooting capabilities. I'm just having trouble building a good Enforcer loadout.
    Care to share your loadout?

Enforcer is a cross between all of the non-Fixer ships. Shooter's damage, Speeder's yellow slots, and Defender's low speed and good effecive-health potential. It can copy the builds of all of the other ships, just not as well. It can go straight damage, bringing stuns or freezes for yellow support, but it still won't match Shooter's damage potential. It can go speed-demon, bringing nitros, overboosts, and turbos, but it won't be nearly as fast as a real Speeder. It can even go tanky, bring metal shields and tesla shields, but a real Defender will still outlast it. Of course, it can also go any mix of these.

It's only real strength is dat turret speed, it's the only thing that enables Enforcer to have it's own playstyle. Being able to switch targets faster than anyone else in a firefight is already very useful, but it also makes it a beast in close-range battles. Even against a Speeder, the faster lock-on means that, regardless of the tactics used, you will always shoot first. You barely even notice how much it helps until you use any other ship and someone pops up behind you. Swiveling to attack those guys takes so long, you might just keep shooting forward and let them kill you.

Anyone who's seriously saying it sucks is probably sub-500 infamy. Enforcer isn't very powerful in low-rank games, same as Speeder. They aren't fast enough to really evade anything, they don't have a lot of HP, and they don't have Shooter's gun slots, so they don't look very good. The classes start to balance each other out more later.

What makes enforcer special is it's near instant forward and reverse acceleration. It's called the enforcer dance and it lets you dodge a whole lot and make yourself very hard to hit. they make great all around ships, and once u learn to dance, they are very useful.

Enforcer is decent and good enough when starting at Mk3 level.. I use it a lot now and I really love it because of its easy maneuverability.

I've been wondering about that. Are you sure that's not a feature of Overboost, and not necessarily Enforcer? I've seen Speeders shuffle pretty fast, too, but I've never seen either class doing it without Overboost active.

Nope overboost just helps alot. But the Enforcer accelerates quick in both directions. Makes dodging projectiles super easy. Tesla shields and overboost makes mortars easy to dodge/block as well.

Well I've been running turbo + overboost on a fixer, and I can tell you the reverse sucked... I couldn't dodge anything with it, except maybe a torpedo seen from far away.

Tesla shield on enforcer is incredibly good as a guard tool, especially climbing ranks when you don't have near the damage output of some of the other ships. Saddle up next to a healer or high damage and eat shots for them. Downside though is that it doesn't come into its own until later and buzzkill is slow to level.

That's exactly right. Enforcers are the defenders in this game. They are your last line of defense to stop the speeders from tearing up your slower teammates.

lol i disagree P0rthos, enforcers are a mix of defender and speeder, is able to get out of tough situations but could take alot before dying. But a good speeder could take out any enforcer or any other speeder by themselves, enforcers jobs arent to stop speeders, i think they are to get around maps quick and have a nice rotation to keep an enemy under constant fire. You could let me know if im wrong!

Sure! It all depends on your play style I suppose. There are no rules! You do you bro. ;)

I def play my Enforcer as a speeder hunter. The fast turret is key. Me and a guildie routinely play our OverTurbo Enforcers and wolf pack any stragglers. Very effective. Speeders routonely separate themselves and we swoop in.

At mk4, enforcer is really fun.
Grenade/blast/teslashield/frostblaster/turbo/shield. It kill speeder easy, can ran in middle/close range. And yes can switch target quite often. I wait for mk5.... 3 slot of weapon.
