Gear score matchmaking is awesome

    I just finished using 6 tickets and those 6 games were the most consistent streak of matches I've had a long time. In every game all 10 players had the same mk and a majority of the games stayed close and exciting. Prior to these deathmatch games I'm pretty sure i never had a game where one side had all 5 players with the same mk let alone both teams, so that's awesome.

    Long wait ends in crash to lobby with ticket taken but no match played, I immediately join a battle after this and another ticket used

    I'm super happy with the regen rate of the tickets as well. I didn't think it would only be a couple of minutes

    I will admit that I saw a huge disparity of "skill" in a few games . These guys had decent weapons like lvl4 rares and a couple of epics just like everyone else in the match, but their game sense was nonexistent. They would run in, miss everything and die, or, stay still, miss everything and then proceed to die again. These guys thought they were were playing COD or something

    Yeah its good but in ranked match it will be so fcked up..glad they use it in event! Fun game mode, cant wait for other event now!!!

    Deathmatches were the worst gameplay I've seen in months. Absolute garbage matchmaking. It made me want to log off.

    I thought it could be, but it needs major tweaking. You cannot say that the gear score of a max blue is the same as a max red! 2 point weapons have the same gear score as 1 point! That is not balanced. As an enforcer player with a decent gear score, was rocked in TDM by shooter after shooter. It was not fun. In a regular match I can routinely get the highest damage or 2nd. In TDM I was usually last by as much as half most times.

    Not sure it matches by gear score
    I am mk6, gear score 9000+
    Am match with players that are mk7 with 12k-14k gear score

    It definitely matches by gear score. But like infamy matchmaking it may not always be exact. Several times when I rolled my main I was regularly matched with others with gear score 1500 greater than mine like you saw... which made me feel very under-powered, but that could be just who was available at the time. Most times it was accurate, and particularly I used weaker gear and was matched appropriately.
