Game exploiting in death match modes

Conclusion: Never upgrade your ship!!!!! I really regret that I have upgraded all my ships to mk7.


People with high infamies are using lower mk ships in the death match, where the matching is solely based on mks of your ship. As far as I know, they are using mk1 ships, and can get 3 stars very easy by one shot killing their enermies (sometimes they even matched with bots). Many of them got more than 4 legends last week. I spent my whole weekend, and even spent 1000+ pearls, but only get 2 legends, since it is really hard to get 3 stars with mk 7 ships, where you will often be matched with players with 5000+ infamies.

I think they are again exploiting the matching mechanism, and I hope devs can do something. This lower mk ship exploit is very unfair for other players, both in lower and higher infamy levels (they can gain huge advantages by spending the same amount of efforts).

Some pics from facebook bb group. Already many lower infamy players are complaining about this there. Look how many repeated legends perks this player already got. I don't intend to start any debate. I just want to bring this potential exploit to devs' attention, and hope the devs may at least look into this, and give me/us an official answer on whether this behavior is legitimate or not.

What I want to convey is just this is not fair for players like me where all ships have been upgraded to mk7. If this is not violating any game policy, then I also wish the devs can provide us an option to degrade our ships, say at the same cost as upgrading ships.

 

Do you know that when you use weapon that is too strong base on the level of your ship, you will be matched with ships that is 2 levels higher?

For example: Using legendary items on MK1 ship will result in matching with all MK3 ships

 

First, mk1 mk2 ships are similar, you can one shot them by using legend weapons. Indeed, Ship mk levels is a huge factor in match making. Second, they can lower their points by taking only one strong weapon, and other lower level gears. Third, let us just look at the outcome, they are getting 4+ legends during the last round.

 

They spend their time and money for the event so getting 4 lg perks is what they deserve. I think there is nothing wrong with that.

As I already told you. If you use MK1 with lg weapon, the system will balance it by matching you with MK3 or even MK4. The only thing that is difference between players is SKILL

 

Well, you may change your mind if you understand how hard to gain stars by using mk7 versus one shotting most enermies and getting 3 stars with winning or 2 stars with losing by using lower mk ships. If this is legimitate, then I hope the dev can allow us to degrade our ships.

 

That’s simply not true. I tried putting my t5 Epic EC on a mk3 Shooter, with nothing else but a Turbo (just to see what would happen), and what happened is: I got matched against the same ships that I was fighting with my regular build. The only difference is, I didn’t have any HP or other items —- it was a dead loss.

My most successful build was running my t3 Epic Blast on a mk3 Defender. But I was still being matched against mk4s and mk5s. My win rate was atrocious, maybe only 1-2 games out of 10. The only thing that made it good was my weak Flare+Blast was consistent enough to earn me 1 star win/lose.

welp no one likes to see noob-crushers, i think hes tryna say he wishes he could do that, but then it would be hypocrisy so..lol

 

Lol unfair? Think of the little guys with mk1 boats dying from one hit to those players lol that's unfair! The fact that you can't do the same is an inconvenience for you at most

Can't believe your truly upset cos your not able to seal club so ya only got 2 legendary rewards lol wtf?
Some of us got no legendaries because of seal clubbers!

To say that a nightmare players putting heavy weapons on MK1 is not an exploit, that person must be doing it also. I can explain a novel here but those people already knows that.

 

u did it the wrong way, each mk has its gs range, u need to control gs, perks gives tons of gs, need to keep it in mind.

 

Yellow items are being exploited the most. Let see what kind of changes the Devs will do next TDM.
