fixer. I said so because the mode prefers the respawn area. It means playing defensive is preferable. Defensive playing is boosted with fixer. Therefore, playing fixer gains significant advantage. Personally, if my team has a fixer, we always win. If the other team has a fixer, we always lost.

Does this fixer-team-winnning happen to everyone?

Maybe it is too late to fix this, i.e. either both teams have a fixer or not at all.

It's not that way. I've had tons of wins with a fixer on the opposite team, and vice versa.

Do you think the defensive-style (just stay near the respawn location) is preferable in the mode? I conclude this because when we die, we got shield. In the shield, we can shoot but the enamy cannot. The shield takes some time to disable (right)? Therefore, staying near the respawn and enemy drawn near is optimal to use the shield's benefit. Make sense?

Well, I always say it depends on your playstyle and build. I for one oscillate between the center of the battlefield and the spawn. The spawn is deffo a good retreat point since there will almost always be a full health teammate waiting for you.

Can you please give me the build where staying not near the respawn point is good? I think staying near the respawn point and draw the opposite to come is the best.

I run a bigshield with double blast flare, with yellows as OB and TS. Basically I play mid, die, and when I respawn, I use the spawn speed boost to rush in, and take advantage of flare attacks from my last spawn. That starts a chain that ends in carnage:cool:

As a fixer myself, I don’t feel this to be true. I lose more games than I win. It really boils down to how well your team cooperates. If everyone tries to be the hero and charges in, its a lost cause.

We ran the initial data yesterday and it seems that 1-0 fixer balance in TDM is pretty similar as in ranked battles. TDM was only 2% more favored to team with the fixer than ranked. So, very slight edge but nothing to be worried really.

exactly, if both teams have a fixer then it’s a fair match.

Guys you know what the most funny thing is. I somehow sneak behind enemy lines and kill their fixer. Then the fixer respawns where I am. So I keep on killing it. The cycle only breaks when someone else gets killed, and I end up getting shot when they respawn. Or when the whole enemy turns around.

If the fixer team stays in their respawn zone, I would say they have a 75% plus win rate no matter what the non fixer team does.
If the fixer team splinters and the battles plays out mid-map or in the non fixer respawn zone, then I’d say the fixer team win rate is around 30%.
If the fixer just sucks, then I’d peg their win rate at 30%.
So in the end there are so many bad players that we have a 50% win rate on average. However those of us that know better realize that a good fixer with a team that stays in their respawn zone is almost unbeatable in death matches.

Well That 75% will drop down to 30% if Fixer team Reswapn point is filled with Non-fixer team Mines!

Not really. After your first respawn, just drive over all the mines while you’re still invulnerable. Problem eliminated, resume fixing.
