So we've already seen the four Unique perks from this event:
"Speedy" Cannon Damage + Projectile Speed
"Quickshot" Fire Damage + Cooldown Reduction
"Reach" Mortar Damage + Range Extension
"Wildfire" Torpedo Damage + Fire Chance (+40% additional damage over 4 seconds)
While I'm sure there's more perks to be unlocked in future events, let's brainstorm some additional ones for the future, shall we?
While the obvious answer is "combine the Effect and Cooldown perks into one" - for example, the
"Quickshot" Fire Damage can easily become the
"Quickcharge" Railgun Damage - how about some more off-the-wall ideas too?
"Extinguisher" Repair Effect
Reduces the Burn time of a ship by 2, 4, 6, or 8 seconds (depending on perk rarity)
"Interceptor" Shield Defense
Reduces AoE damage by causing weapons to "explode early"
"Swarm" Missile Effect
Significantly increases the projectile count of your missiles (up to double) but decreases the damage per projectile (but still providing a net gain in damage)
"Piercing" Railgun Effect
Damage is reduced, but you can now hit
