    in TDM, you can't report someone for making you lose because they aren't affecting your infamy. The people who equip certain items to get an easier match aren't cheating- they are just trying to improve their chances of winning.

    You can report for floating and suicide.

    And players could possibly still find ways to have very low gear score but a couple OP items. If it is egregious, it is considered cheating. I think the devs are taking a "wait-and-see" approach to see if any of these combos surface.

    The best loadout I can see is a low shooter with 3 high lvl fire bombs and low other weapons etc, they can just sit at the back not getting hit and rain fire on very weak ships.

    Actually a floater is kinda useful because they can't go to the battlefield and get themselves killed.

    Hey, I lower my 'score myself. I equip a big shield on my enfo(rare t4) instead of a turbo and a bandage.

    Battle Bay is about variety. Evolving to changes. I didn't like being oneshotted. So I got myself a big shield.

    Personally, these people who can oneshot other folks don't bother me. If it can take damage, it can die:p

    I’ve found that if you equip ‘OP’ weapons, then you tend to get OP opponents, so it’s not really possible to ‘cheat’. Any more than it’s possible to cheat by fleeting with a much higher ranked player (you just get put in high ranked games).

    Mk3 enfo with 2 top weapons and weak nitros is probably the best combo I've seen so far

    Agreed, this is what has worked best for my Mk6 Enforcer as well... Although I've had lots of success with my normal setup, but subbing a bandage for my turbo.

    I had 3 3-star matches in a row with my 7k gearscore Defender. Next battle was against opponents between 8k and 10k gearscore, and my team had also weak gearscores as me, it was kinda odd

    I guess the 50/50 finally kick in. But I seriously don't respect people who purposely lower than their gear score just to win their games. I think the developers should patch this so that players play at their original gear score.

    I don't think I consider someone with 2 T5 epic weapons on an mk4 defender with 7k+ hp, fighting against people of my level(I have 1 leggy[T1], 1 epic[T2], and 5 rare items[T1-T4], and around 5.6k gearscore) fair.

    And people say gear score matchmaking is better than infamy. People can easily abuse this type of matchmaking by just lowing their gearscore. At least the normal matchmaking was harder to abuse

    Variety...... Hmmmm... Let me think stars = damage dealers, Ship with most play = Damage Dealer, Legendary Perks = damage dealer, team deathmatch = damage dealers. Yup, there is definitely variety in these few things. ;););)

    Yep, I had a floater fixer. I stayed next to floater as a defender and took out two ships (speeder + shooter) two times for the two kills they got. People need to learn not to get in unfriend's spawn.

    Have the developers found a way to patch floaters yet? I really hate them sometimes.
