Why people hate Selfish fixer?

Work on that epic flare or just roll double bc. Rolling double bc will help you to get leg bc quicker. Flare and double bc is also perfect for enforcer .

 

In my opinion the only way selfish fixer kinda works is if you're allowing yourself to be used as bait. Rolling around with an overboost taking hits and generally being the focus of your opponents.
Good fixers will be easily be able to 'outfix' whatever contribution you're bringing to the table as you're quite likely to not have the firepower to consistently hold down your team. I know there are people out their with a good video or two .... But consistency is the key word here. Can you consistently be an asset to your team?

 

I love selfish fixers. They like defenforcers. Great defensive abilities comes from insane healing and nice mobility. But i wish there is a better inform than "SoS...Negative". Most of players doesn't understand what that means. Trusting your fixer, take risks and notice he/she is a selfish fixer. It is very bad feeling.

 

The reason is that is easier to blame others than themselves

 

Assassin / making distraction / Defending that's usually I do

 

I don't know about that, if it works now I will keep it else dump that setup and go back to Speeder / Enforcer and never come to fixer again

Selfish fixers are great teammates, if they let us know about it and if they play correctly. On MK6 they can deal lots of damage and tank even more damage than Enforcers with dual tesla Shields.

Don't worry about others' opinions, it is a game and if you're enjoying the setup, there's nothing wrong with it.

That’s true, if your in a 1v1 with a suped-up duck tape fixer, they’re nearly impossible to kill. I think that the problem lies in the fact that you end up being nothing more than a bullet sponge. While having a nearly immortal distraction is incredibly useful, you aren’t dealing any damage, nor are you giving any health to your team. If the enemy figures out that you can’t really heal your teammates, then they switch their attention to your team. And without your healing ability, they don’t get the help they need.

 

Every time I played against a selfish fixer(that did not suicide), my team was too stupid to realize that 140+ heals per tick is duct tape and not pulse, so they just keep targeting it, until the enemy shooters kill off all of us.

 

That guy is a bitch. That same guy called me a motherfucker like a month ago. Funny, how I am now in ace and he isn't.

Yes one blast cannon on its own is not that good as you only shoot once every twelve secs. Dual carro on mk6 is better.

 

Because players need unlimited health or continous restoration of their hp, they don't focus on skill, just point and shoot. That's the reason why many report about the matches which are 2 vs 1 Fixers/ no fixer vs fixer matches.
If selfish fixer is against rules they should've removed the ability to use 3 duct tapes.
I support the player's choice.

 

If you get the basics then it's fun. I have been doing this for a lot longer time on my ingame account, Da Carronade King, and my tapes are weaker than yours, Ignore what others say. Play by your own merits.
I would fleet but then everyone would start complaining if there are two selfish fixers in a game.
You also don't need tier 4 epics tapes to be good.

 

And if they get the help they need, Fixers die first and other ships never try to protect the Fixers. I'm in. ACE 1, in all my matches, none in my team knows or never try to protect me, all they do is spam 'SOS' command.
Speeders are the only ships who knows strategy, others just point shoot and hide and cry for HP refill.

 

If you know how to deal damage you are uselful. Though I gotta say, I get a bit too enthusiatic and end up killing myself in my haste to shield my teammates. If I can get past that, I could probbaly move up higher through ace.

 

Just imagine a selfish MK7 fixer with two Legendary Cannons(at lv 50) and also with 3 Epic duct tapes(at lv 50).It would be....




YIKES!!!

 

At higher infamy , a selfish fixer need to balance shooting and healing.

If u forget to press ur duct u will be toasted.
