Paid to Upgrade Item Now - didn’t happen

i have paid the $50 to upgrade items twice now. I paid to upgrade the Fire Bomb from 40 to 41, and the Flare Gun from 40 to 41. In both cases I already had the required extra two items for the upgrade. Both times nothing happened. How do I get this fixed or get my $100 back?

Sorry, just to clarify...

You already had the duplicates to upgrade, and you paid $50 for more duplicates? And you did it twice?

If you already had the duplicates, why didn’t you just upgrade it?

 

Because your description said, “Don’t Wait: Upgrade Now!” Each time this offer has popped up I had reached level 40, had the necessary weapons to upgrade, but did not have the CREWMEMBER TRAINED. It did not say anything about another weapon. You have Offers specifically for buying another weapon. Those offers explicitly state that they are for Buying A Weapon. This offer says No Waiting. To me that reads, “No Waiting For The Crewmember To Be Trained.”

Honestly it would be insane to spend $50 for any single weapon. I SCRAP Epics that I already have too many of. I have scrapped four or five of each of those! You buy chests, you get the weapon. It never would have occurred to me that this is what you meant.

Please either upgrade those two items to 41 (and take the two Flare Guns and two Fire Bombs out of my inventory), or if that is not possible, please refund the $100. Also, please change the language on that Offer so that people understand what you mean. Right now, there is absolutely no way to tell that you meant anything other than exactly what you say - Upgrade NOW! Without Waiting (I don’t have a screenshot of this offer for the exact wording). Given the language in the ad/offer I would have expected the Gold needed to upgrade to appear in my inventory as well. It did not.

Oh, I thought that you were somehow associated with Battle Bay. Why are you asking this, if you cannot actually do anything about it? Trolling?

 

I'm not even gonna ask why you thought you didn't need to train crew member...

Although... it is also quite helpful to the developers, if they are actually able to understand a problem, upon reading; without having to decipher egocentric ramblings about ‘nothing happened’. Their time is valuable, after all.

The offers tell you exactly what you get for your money. Assuming you did receive the items and resources advertised (?), then ‘something’ did happen, which is exactly what was supposed to happen.

 

DEVELOPERS: Please amend the language to that offer to show you are offering a duplicate weapon. As it stands, when it appears to a person who has the duplicates but not the Crew Level, it appears to offer an upgrade without the required crew training.

As this post is only attracting Trolls, I will have Apple refund the money.

I don't think Devs or Apple can help you, the offer always display what items you're getting, when I've bought them they show me a big picture of the item(s) I'm getting. Sorry I think you're in the wrong here and I don't think calling people who's trying to help you "trolls" is a good idea...

Image to show how offers are shown to me and (I think) most players. They display what items and in what quantity you're getting them.

 

This is the most help you will get until a dev takes the time to respond, and they have better things to do. Also, just because someone doesn't give you the perfect answer you want doesn't mean they're a troll.
