Free chest bug

This morning I had a notification that my free common crate was available. I clicked on it and was instead greeted by an option to buy my "free" common crate for 360 pearls. This second pop-up window has never occurred for a free crate for me, and knowing it was free by my notification, I clicked on the okay to buy screen without a second thought or even realizing what I had done. No way to back out of it, I opened the "free" gray common crate to find 2 common items, a few common parts and 360 pearls missing. I scrapped the 2 items out of frustration. Is there any way to get my 360 pearls back for what should have been a free crate?

 

You bought more inventory, not the crate.

 

How could that be when the common crate is free. I've never even once had the option to buy a common crate for pearls. It's always free or "unavailable" for a certain amount of hours.

 

You had full inventory, so you bought more slots to fit what you got from the chest. Someone else said the same thing and got the same answer from someone else.

 

You're so right. I never keep full inventory, so that didn't even seem like a possibility to me. I just went back to check my slots and saw that I now have more. Dangit!! So sneaky! Well, thank you for the help, there.
