What's with all the floaters out there? It's hard to get your ratings up when about every other game you got one team member that just sits there. Really gets irritating.

It should be the easiest thing in the world to detect. I don’t know why they don’t do something (anything) to make it better.

They already have bots. Just replace people with bots, even if they suck, at least they can soak up some fire while they’re sucking.

It would be hilarious if the bot is the one doing the final kill.

Are you reporting them in-game after the match, with details of the floating? Eg: "floating all game" versus "moving only at end when all teammates down" or "moved at start and then never fired?" Because that's something that you can do, and it does have an impact.

Posting here is helpful for venting, but sending an in-game report from the score screen after a match automatically includes their playertag, the match in question, and your commentary - all of which combined make it much easier to make an investigation and take action if necessary. (Remember, someone lagging out suddenly because their parent/brother broke the WiFi is an option too.)

I have not reported any as of yet. I understand there are legitimate reasons for some floating, but I have seen some run to extreme end of battle field and hide.

It includes the match, are you sure? I thought @The Grim Repair said to include that, because it doesn’t.

I’ve been memorising and writing the game tags into my reports. I send so many, I’ve even got a mnemonic system for doing them.

Which reminds me, I wish they’d put fewer Xs, Zs and Qs in the tags. You guys don’t wanna know about all the things Xena and Zara have done Quickly and Quietly, while I was trying to remember tags.

I thought that if you sent the report immediately from the after-match screen (eg: not in the Battle Log or through player profile afterwards) then it included the match tag. Sending it in the report is also helpful, but the timestamp should also help narrow down which match it is.
