Getting there - Game kept giving me tape and I kept scrapping, finally gave in
T4epic + leggy in a month!

 

@Kitterini you also turned into a selfish fixer? U used to use 1 pluse and 2 bolts lol XD

 

Bit back and forth. Would be running Pulse+Bolt+Tape is max infamy mattered. Double tape is fun though, freedom like the old days before the neutered Repair Pulse (just without healing your team ofc!)

 

I too still get rare tapes, but I want epic tapes

What's that?

 

Not really. Ur close enough to my infamy of 2000-2200. two out of my three tapes are tier 1s. On reason is that when I got mk5, I decided to experiment with other healing items so literally scrapped any rare tapes I got after that point. Now I regret that decision as I am using a rare 1 after completely flopping with pulses and bolts. I shouldnt have scrapped but who knows, I am not in a rush to do well. I want mk6 for two weapons and until then I am happy to use tier 1s to build up to a legendary. Using weak items to get the legendary seems sweet and better than someone using a level 4o epic to get a legendary as the epic is already better.

The only prob is taht even after 400 matches using fixer ( I play multiple ships) since update, I have only got like 2.5mil for tape. I better try hard.

 

Lol even as low down as I am , people hate tape fixers.
Although I would say that the one pulse made me just stick to my team and it gave weak heals anyway. So I just went for three tapes.


When u consider that I have a tier 1 rare and tier epic with my tier 3 rare, I would say I am doing quite well in infamy for this. I play speeder and shooter as well and they used to be my main ( my main changed over time from shooter to speeder and only rcently would I say fixer) so they are more developed with tier 4 rares and tier 3 epics. Selfish fixer is fun but I would say speeder is more fun so I like to balance the two. Unfortunately my speeder needs a lot better gear than my fixer to stay at the same infamy so my fixer gets neglected as I wnat my speeder to be strong as well.

 

Lol when ever I want a tape, it never comes my way.

 

Building my way towards a selfish fixer build but a wee bit off yet. Enough tapes for a T4 Epic and a T5 rare, 2 tapes short for a second T5 rare. Enough rare perks at least for em all.

For those beninging to turn to the duct side here are some tips:
- never brawl in the early game
- speed is ur friend
- use hit n run n heal gameplay
- never be to adventures if fighting yellow ship
- always be cool , there are a lot of haters out there

- now stop n look at whos chasing u
- if speeder is chasing u and it's not carrying Tesla Bolt then try n fight

- activate duct mode
- rush to center base map
- peakabo enemy
- evade all enemy fire
- pray ur team to shot back the enemy u detected
- if to many enemy firing at u, run like hell
