Otherwise no substantiated evidence that May 4th is release date of new update...

 

Hopefully we will finally get a fix to the guild rivalry matchmaking. It's a joke currently. Why would 500 plus ranked guilds have to face top 50 guilds? Every week the rivalry has one or two guilds that sandbagged the previous two weeks to get a better matchup. The game is based upon infamy, so the rivalries should also be based on infamy. Love it our hate it. I personally think the infamy system is well balanced. It's not perfect, but no ranking system ever would be.

 

My instinct tells me it will be on 4th or before that.

 

I never said it would be on May 4th, I said I would like it to be on may 4th, and wouldn't mind if I had to forfeit a little content for it.

True...its a speculation
Its been over month and last update was just tweaks. And given the importance of day its, one could wonder that could be the day of update.
Also @The Grim Repair told us it will be soon, 8 days sounds Soon.

 

Prolly some good offers or jingle bell thingy like Christmas.

 

With so many people on edge of leaving...
We expect Rovio to make smarter move.
Who would invest in the game if people are leaving.

 

It is normal for people to get tired and go away, there are no new maps, there are no different game modes, only nerfing and nerfing weapons, and worst a forum full of ideas that if only several followed the game would be fun again ... But that's what there is. And as a game has to be fun because it is to spend your free time when it becomes monotonous it runs out of people. A pity because it is a game with a large number of game possibilities but is stagnant.
Hopefully I'm wrong but if in the next update there are not really changes they can take the boats to the fortnite bay for people to see them ...

 

I agree, next update better bring something radically new, like new modes or ships, preferably modes. Otherwise its getting so stale
