Speeders might
Firstly, that’s actually not easy at all, and the stun immunity mostly fixed that.
Secondly, while Tesla Bolt could do some very cool stuff like that (with a lot of skill), it also did some very nessesary stuff, that speeders need just to live (never mind being OP). And you have to remember that most Tesla Bolt stuns are <10 seconds, and more often than not, they get broken instantly by teammates. And now, they also get removed and ignored by fixers.
As an example, I was once chasing a low hp Speeder (trying to finish him off), but he kept Nitroing away. So I stunned him to stop him Nitroing, and was able to finish him off with my Exploding Cannon.
A few moments later, there is an Enforcer right on top of me. So now I’ve got 15 seconds left on my gun, and 17 left on my Tesla Bolt. And it basically means I can’t do anything, except let him kill me. 10+ seconds with an Enforcer setting you on fire and shooting Blast Cannons at you, isn’t something you can survive with just one Nitro use.
And that’s the problem with the nerf. I basically get to fight for 2.5 seconds, and then I have to run away and hide for 20, and that’s a really long time to just be chilling behind a rock. I see low health ships that need finishing, or a teammate in trouble, and I’ve still got a 10 second wait before I can think about getting back in the fight. It’s just painful.
Tesla Bolt needs a complete redesign. It’s completely stupid that a 16 second stun has an 18 second cooldown, while a 6 second stun has to wait 20 seconds. The cooldown needs to be proportional. And immunity shouldn’t be a thing anymore. One nerf or the other, not both.
