    The debate starts!
We are here to discuss about HP or defence perks.
Defence:reduces the damage of each hit you take.Does NOT affect burn damage
    HP:you get more hit points

Unless you are say a defender that stacks defence to begin with... I say HP wins every time. I hit you with a cannon for 400 damage.... 5 points defense removes 5 points... even if you are putting a 25 hp perk in there you would have to survive 5 hits for the defense to balance out.

    This.

To take it a step further, you would need to survive 11 separate hits before the added defense is at all noticeable compared to a +50 HP Perk. (You break even at 10. Healers and massive amounts of health both contribute to defence's effectiveness)

save the defense perks for when you're playing with the blue bullet sponge.

The problem with defense is that it's a static reduction, so against low damage it mitigates a high %, but against high damage it mitigates a low %. So if you stack defense, you are weaker against strong opponents, and stronger against weak opponents. That doesn't seem very useful.

Lemme correct that a bit, strong against large quantities of low damage bullets, weak against small quantities of large bullets
