    Let's see some Defender strategy threads! I'm 99.9% certain they are misused by most players. For example, why do Defenders commonly go off by themselves? If everyone understood the role, teams could rally around the bull that it is and use it to charge.

    amen but some players just dont understand the tactics of the game it would be ideal if the defender took hits backed by fixer and shooters were by the sides or back dealing craptons of damage but unfortunately this rarely happens (if it does at all)

    ive played some defender and its a beast if u know how to use ur hp to bully others but just dont get ganged i guess

    People don't do it because the vids are not readily available. I'd like to do that, but my HP is simply not on point for the role of defender.

    Dud ei think u got swarmed by torpedos and mortars...if u get close to that mutated tomato...a.k.a. shooter,it just relies on its 1 or 2 cannon type weapons...das how joo win in every 1v1...get right on their ass....AND SHOOT UR SNIPER AT CLOSE RANGE(wait wah?it was longie thingy)and/or use taht sexplosive cannon and enjoy how dey oof for 5 minutes

    The reason I don't play defender is because it is a DISASTER in terms of speed. Acquired taste, I know. I've never been a big fan of tanks, but yeah. I thought defenders could be good snipers. But then again, what about the HP? The ship is clearly built eith charging in mind, but when damage gets to four digits a shot, the charging capability becomes negligible.

    If I ever play defender, it's because I like it's solidness and the meditative experience of playing it. Yes, I play defender. In face, I only have three out of five ships mk5ed. Defender, speeder and enforcer. I know for a fact that I've come too far to ever play as a shooter main, and fixer is a class I'm never touching. I lack the patience needed and the "Hoping your team will work well" part of playing it.




    You can expect me to play defender on my channel, but cannot expect me to be any good at it LMAO.

    Omg that's deadly af. I hate fighting mk6s with that much HP, since I need a competent teammate with me to take one down. And competent teammates are super hard to get lmao

    Up in nightmare 10k hp shooters are pretty common, my defender has 13k hp so it’s not much of a difference ( although I do have some defense perks too).

    Like antisnipe said, my ability to push for a kill is almost nonexistent, but that’s because I am not a whale defender with 20k hp, and most importantly it’s because I have 2 snipers instead of 2slot weapons (usually EC).

    Why? Well that’s because I’m basically just a shooter up here, I can keep firing constantly thanks to the short CD. As for speed, defender has the same max as a shooter, I am no where near max speed though myself.

    Also I just can’t afford to level up an EC let alone 2 and a flare, I did get some leggy torps though so some alternative setups are in the works...

    My opinion: When shooters have just about the same HP count as defenders, we have a teensy problem.

    If i swap 1 shield for a turbo.. then im 7300ish but max speed

    Im usually the higest HP unless there is a defender.. most shooters are 4500 to 6000

    And even then when damage is 4 digits (1500 to 2500 a wack, hp goes quick).. ive exploded in a big ball of fire in 3 or 4 shots

    OK, devs lets double evenyone HP, but keeps weapon dmg the same, extend battle time to 7 min and add a 6th player
