Floaters..they still exist :(

This is just sad...
I'm glad I won the game...but rlly sad for the two in the other team...they had 3 floaters :/
Devs wake up..this is whats happening to ur game...
I was used to seeing 1 floater...then 2...now 3? Just imagine how many players are getting away with floating...
floaters are rising in numbers because they don't get punished...slow internet/lag is not an excuse...if u dont meet the ping requirement..u shouldnt be allowed to get into a match...
Imagine entering a game and 3 of ur teammates are floating...its just sad

 

Don't worry, it gets way better in higher infamies! I've only seen one floater since like a week.

 

In other words, to solve this problem, you have to suffer for 6 motths to go to higher infamy. Is that really a fix?

 

It doesn't take that long... pretty sure the majority of floaters are below 1k infamy.

 

I agree that floaters should be punished, but those who internet connection problem are different matter, because some just have connection right in the middle of the game, not before it start.

So i usually check the replay to see whether he/she is idle from the start, if yes i would repot them for floating.

 

There will always be a certain amount of floaters as long as people's phones and internet can go dead from batteries lost connection etc., just do your job and report them, if they do it too much they will get a punishment, if it's rare for them then they don't deserve any consequence.

 

As per @xxxBISMARCKxxx there will be other contributing factors to it to explain floating activity. That said, for those who chose to intentionally float, what fix is there? The only thing that can be done is to report.

 

I’ve reported so many this week it’s ridiculous (on both sides). The really annoying thing is that I’m now being punished for dropping infamy, yet these jerks are the ones costing me wins, and nothing seems to happen to them.

If it weren’t for all the floaters I’ve had this week, I’d probably be +300 and well within my normal infamy range.

On the plus side, I did manage to carry a game yesterday in spite of a floater. It’s a pretty good game, the Shooter and I really played our asses off!

EDIT: Just had another one. That’s 2 out of the last 5 games, that I’ve played this morning, ruined by floaters. Something needs to be done.
