    Hello Everyone,

In the in-game chats people are complaining about the problems with aiming. And I have experienced the same problem sveraltimes, You are in a one on one battle, and then suddenly your turrets sweeps to the right. But weird thing is, this boat is over 30-40 degrees to the right or left of the other player, which you are targetting.

So, why does the turret move all of a sudden? I don't turn my ship, nor my turret. I am just aiming at one particular ship in front of me. Often the mortar will drop in between both Unfriends and not hitting either one of them. This is very annoying and it takes times to aim to the right ship again.

    Suggestions are welcome.

    Regards,
    Reinier

I tend to use target lock to prevent aim sway. This is because though this "bouncing target" issue is minor relatively on shooters, if it happens on a speeder, it's just... *Sigh*

I'd suggest that you try using the target lock function, practice with that until you find why way suits you the best. My targets never bounce, simply because I never allow them to. Try that.

I prefer to use sticky targets. Keeps the reticle from bouncing off of the target as easily. Using the target lock and switching can be helpful too.

Something entirely different. Did you finish you exams already? You talked about it in the in-game chat. So, I was curious if you were done already and how did it all go.

I was having target bouncing problem when I had sticky target on. I don't know but since I switched it off my aiming has improved drastically.
As a speeder with sticky target on I used to eat lots of mines and torps. I couldn't do the hit and run thing as my turret used to refuse to switch.

Even happens with target lock. You could be actively aiming at dude, locked on, (over the barrels on Subzero and Dropdead Gorge in particular) and he vanishes out of sight, your reticle zips over to somebody else just as you fire at the spot you KNOW the dude is.

I said before that I want an option where if I am actively aiming, thumb on aiming stick, there is no auto-aim assistance.

If the target bounces with sticky targets on its even more horrible. I faced it switching it off helps.

Yeah I tried sticky targets, didn't like. I use locking and manually selecting targets all the time.
