Am I missing something really confused

    I hit a player dead center of a mortar shot, they had no shield and took NO DAMAGE? Am I missing something?

    Probably put up their tesla shield at the last second, was it a yellow ship?

    No a shooter like mine that's why that's why I'm confused. As a shooter you can't utilize a shield.

    Weird. Lag could explain it I guess, did he seem to teleport after the hit?

    Nope just waltz on and killed me. The ship had about 300 life left hit should have killed it considering I hit for over 300.

    I was just wondering if there was was something I was missing about shooters. Now it just seems they cheated somehow oh well thats games for you now days.

    Ouch. I've had no damage on a few grenades that I'm sure made contact too actually, might be some sort of rare bug..

    Hey, it's server lag. That's the only answer if they didn't have a shield up. Watch this video in the beginning and it'll show you how I hit people dead center and missed...

    Defense points could explain that, maybe his shield had epic defense perks additional to the ones the crew training gives. I have seen this with Nightmare players as i keep shooting my lame cannon, next to nothing happened to them.
