Things to never, ever, EVER use on speeder

Oh why? I really only knew Pap because I was in the guild he's in(CK 2.0), but never heard of him before that.

Well in beta, maybe not too much since then..

 

I only brought 2 months of VIP. I dont think thats enough to be called a p2w eh? (Provided thats pay-2-win)
Moreover, i spent money on VIP package via my own time doing surveys via opinions post (still doing), as bittersteel suggested who used to do that too and then get the redeemed points to buy stuff in bbay.
And bittersteel was a rare user too, but again look at him now, definitely with time people would improve their gear. No reason he would rely on rares anymore for those epics he saved for a long time. Similarly many other f2p players have turned into epics and legs (t1-2) thanks to achievements too.
For the long part like most f2p players around my level i saved epic dupes for a long time till i reached my current state. I was solely focused on saving those dupes i need (LRM, rail etc) and scraping the rest that came along the way. Also i regularly scrap common gear a lot so as to recieve good stuff, along with leg pieces on some days and thats the reason i could get my leg napalm recently. (Also 9/10 on green yaay)

Getting a legendary dupe is EXTREMELY LUCKY, assuming you haven't already got every single leggy.

 

you have so much luck you get a leg you wanted, then you get the dup with the achievement

 

so what you mean to say is i've got through a buying phase to get my t2 leg rail?
The second leg rail or the dupe your referring is from achievements if you know we can get one from there too.
And as for the first one, Its out there in joey's pray circle thread too, i posted a screen of it right when i got that leg, and literally screamed in chat, as excited as i was :')
And if now you tell based on your assumption getting my first leg as a rail is also after many 'buy-trials' as it seems from your post, then whats the point of expecting a leg you want when you combine 10/10?

Since you might bring up this too, let me ask you more.
Also after playing 17k+ battles, being on regularly and for a fair amount of time daily, you expect someone to stay with rares? Or even lower?

And i also say what i got, like i mentioned in my post above, i've purchased two months of VIP, that too earned through surveys. (since am a student, dont have a cc yet. And thanks again bittersteel). Here's evidence i was VIP once -

 

It's working out pretty good for me. Reason why I don't have turbo is simple - it was impossible to land grenade shots at enemies being that fast (at least for me). Now I play basically like Enforcer, but with overboost and nitro I'm still faster. I'd call myself some kind of Enforcer/Speeder hybrid.

I'm actually gonna switch standard shield for rudder just for the sake of fun (heard it's also super effective on speeder).

That's a good question, I scrapped all of my gear lubes tho so answer is clear for me
