Oh puleaze. Even when I just popped a crappy R1 nitro in the second slot to see how it felt I was astonished. Suddenly I'd become incredibly more hard to hit in those dogfights and getting away again was a lot easier. And let's not even discuss jetting across the map to help out a team mate. I can't imagine the bolt comparing (with our play styles anyway) even with it's pre-nerf reload time.

So... I guess L17 Uncommon OB is fine for the time being right?

You know I'd have to try one. But off the cuff, if I was choosing between that and my R30 tesla bolt I'd probably go with the common nitro.

So far at least the point isn't so much how far or fast it moves you. It just needs to move you far enough to have the bullet miss. What matters a ton more is perks and my second nitro is 100% perk free right now. I still love it.

The OB is, for me at least, my most prized possession so I'd stick with that if you only have one slot. I'd put nitro in the second. I'd put a second nitro in the 3rd.

No, the thing is I have two yellow slots. SO should I use double Nitro (L17 Uncommon and L10 Common) or OB + N. On my main account (MK5) I used Frost Blaster (for my Epic Tier IV Big Torp) and Double Nitro

I consider the overboost mandatory. That's what gets me across the map in a timely fashion and that's what enables the kills. I try hard to find 1v1's and mix in turning it into a 2v1. That does two things. The first is that it puts an enemy boat down right now. The second is that it saves a ton of HP on my friendly shooter who was in the slugfest. That's all those gun tubes to fire on the next bad guy.

Beyond OB is where we get into matters of style. Both @TheAntiSnipe and myself like close combat dog fighting... right in among the enemy team. For that the nitro is awesome and a second one is even more awesome. If I was running a big torp, however, I'd want a tesla bolt instead. It's a nasty combination to get bolted and then see that big torp coming and there's a wall right behind you.

For you right now, go with OB and nitro. That's what most speeders run until M5 when you get the 3rd yellow slot. It's a strong combination. Play around with bolt if you get one and you feel like it.

Yeah it definitely changes the speeder dynamic towards a more safer, reserved role but running 2 Nitros in nightmare is just asking to hit a mine every game

If I got a lege tesshield? I'd scrap my rare! And run it on enfo mk6 later.

If I got a lege rudder? I'd flip out. I have a lege-equivalent turbo, and I really don't feel the need for armor, so sure!

Have you already tried it? I can get my rudder to epic level 20 soo I'm really thinking about using it. Seems like fun with it.

I did actually, duelled sweatybeaver(yeah, who knew he played?). The turn radius is awesome even at rare 10. I remember my old days in a mk4 rudderspeeder. I wasn't nearly as fast back then, but I had a rare t3. It was lit af.
