DevReply Floaters - Why? Just why?

Come on...seriously..still no update to deal with floaters?

I just got off from a match...i had two floaters on my team...rlly?
Players have been complaining for months...are devs even reading the reports?
Do something pls, matchmaking is broken and we still have to deal with floaters...
Don't even get me started on suicidal ships..

 

I see that you are a new member.
Actually, matchmaking has been an issue with SO many threads. People has got frustated.
I understand your problem and assure you devs are working at it.
Give the devlopers some time and they will make changes , believe me.
The floaters are an issue but there are threads and it will get resolved in the near future.

From I see from the results screen that you play well.
You will progress soon anyways, good or bad team.

 

The Devs have said that Floaters only represent 1%, so the odds of you seeing one should be 1 in 10 matches, on average.

 

The higher the Infamy the less I’ve had to deal with floaters. Just get your self out of the 500 Infamy Range. Should maybe take but a week to get to 1k

 

Wow so floating occurs in about only 1% of total games played? Not bad at all. At almost 4K games myself that would mean I’ve had maybe 40 games with floaters. Which I think seems about right, more or less.

 

I'll certainly agree. Down at his infamy it was routine to see 2 or 3 floaters in a match. It was stunning if there were none.

Nowadays up around 2k infamy I seldom see a floater. It's rare enough that I attribute it to actual issues like cell phone connection loss and whatnot. Insofar as Miika's 1%, all I can say it that doesn't match my experience and I'd like to see a detail breakdown by infamy level.

 

Thanks for correcting. It seems I report a floater roughly every 40 matches or so always performing a replay to confirm that it isn't someone who just had an unfortunate situation... so when I was trying to remember what the 1% applied to, it seemed low based on my experience. I reported 5 on Sunday alone.

I've also been paying attention to season high infamy to see whether or not they are dropping on purpose, but in most cases that doesn't seem to be true, so I'm guessing a large percentage of that is just network issues, or people are being a lot more subtle about dropping.

 

@Miika just wondering how our reports are processed (say we had a floater). Do u guys actually check each one and respond with a ban/warning?
