Ok now i know that sniper isn't that OP like i thought , sometimes it became so OP that make it unrealistic but just sometimes ,and (sometimes) isn't counted

But it still need a bit just a little bit change , not nerf , just replace something with another thing

With sniper another popular perk combo is 3 crit chance + 1 crit dmg. It works pretty well too.
The top20 all use blast cannons, because flare is a powerful 1- slot item and gives the other 1- slot items (mainly blast) a boost. As you stated, sniper isn’t really efficient with fire combos, and enforcer has the mobility to get close enough, and teslas to protect it while firing blasts. So for that enfo, blast is the best choice, since sniper loses to blast in close combat.
But if the playstyle would be anything else than close combat (mainly mortar & swift though frost is broken) then i would say go sniper. When there were frostmortar and frostswift enfos, sniper was their top choice and it was better than blast. Sniper isn’t used by enfos nowadays mainly because 1-slot items other than flare combo are weak.

 

What makes you say that?

The previous comparison was extremely problematic. Firstly, it downplayed accuracy (one of Sniper’s biggest advantages over Blast). Secondly, it downplayed the importance of range by pitting only 18 seconds of long ranged fire, against a full 5 mins of short range.Thirdly, Sniper’s crit chance was only 30% instead of its full 45%.

And there is no accounting for risk (in a real game, a Speeder charging into the unfriends, during the first 18 seconds, would likely die before they did any significant damage at all.

Wait a sec. On BC it says that it takes while to reload. Sniper and blast have the same cooldwon

Just one question before this thread dies

Critical damage is 2x of the damage that was gonna be received
This mean that a lvl 50 epic sniper cannon that deal 700-800 damage , so its crit damage should be between 1400-1600 but most of times it is 2???-till 3k

But my ex cannon deal ~1300 and its crit damage is 2500-2700 this mean only 2x but for sniper it is 3.?x

So why that?

 

There are 2 talents that increase crit damage by 25% meaning it does 2,5x damage. Also there are crit damage perks.

 

It deal 3k without perk i saw it today

And is that crit damage only made for sniper or for all cannons?

 

I look at it and it was just for sniper cannon and they were 2

It is now ridiculous this make me hate it more and more for ever

 

My

My Lvl 40 Epic Sniper does 533 Damage and Crits for 1100 usually. I’ve never hit a Crit for 3x Damage. So people that have gotten 3x likely are running +Crit Damage Perks but keep in mind they are replacing those Perks slots with +Crit Chance, so even though they may do 3x Damage. They do it less often.

 

PERFECT EXAMPLE
My team altogether had 7 Snipers
Unfriends had 3. Yet they still OUT DPS’d our team. Seriously I rest my case.

 

Here’s two game where we had more than 2x the amount of Snipers and got out DPS’s by the enemy cause they had Explosives and Blasts....according to your logic we should have won. Yet we lost...

The truth is that the Crit doesn’t go off as often as you think and neither is it as high damage as some of the others have said. The Sniper needs Crit to stay viable at all. Without it, it would be a vastly underpowered weapon. Than most of us would be switching to a Blast or Explosive. Then people will only Complain again about the next weapon.

Can’t argue the facts though. Sniper isn’t overpowered otherwise it would reflect in almost every match. But it doesn’t. Prove me wrong.

 

The reason yours does x2 is most likely because you selected cannon cooldown and more damage to burning enemies instead of 25% more critical damage on bhurt's talent tree number 16 and 17.
