See above. I wasn't suiciding or being reckless, or anything like that. I just went to battle, and then I didn't know where my ship was.

My teammates were SLOW.and being targeted my enemy team entirely is annoying, yeah. IM SWITCHING TO DEFENDER SO I CAN JEEP UP WITH TEAMMATES AND HAVE JHIGH HEALTH

 

I played a close combat cannon shooter a fair bit. You died because you dug in too deep with no support and no cover. What did you think was going to happen? What do you and your team do when the first red dot appears on their radar? Open fire, right?

I would've edged forward MUCH more carefully using the central post as cover. What's the point of having dual snipers if you aren't prepared to use them? Also, you have no turbo on that shooter. If you really want to play that aggressively then you're going to need more speed... a lot more. Otherwise, you need to play more cautiously as shooters must. Those sniper cannons have really long range and they're deadly accurate. There's no need for you to be close. You've got a decent load out there but you're not positioning your boat to take advantage of it. Your ideal range is the range of your snipers and no closer. The std cannon is for feisty speeders who come visiting.

By the way, playing a defender won't help you with this. EVERY boat goes down like a sack of bricks when targeted by 3+ unfriends with the possible exception of speeders who have the chance to evade or flee.

 

One of my friends, a defender, had really good position. I HAVE switched to defender ( contrary to what people say, it's pretty good.) and I'm the close- mid range defender. STandard cannon for its low cooldown ( and possibly high damage) and EX cannon for its DAMAGE

 

Picture says it all really. Look how far you separated yourself from your team. Your teammates weren’t slow, you were just impatient and made yourself the single target the entire unfriends could see, who else did you think they were gonna target!?

 

What's the point of shooter if you don't go and shoot everyone?

 

Shoot and fight together with your team. You lack teamwork. This game is only going to get a lot harder the more you think only about your self.

This thread is about (YOU). It’s not about Miku who’s a completey skilled and capable player of standing on his own due to a very specific loadout. You on the other hand are not Miku just as much as you are not Superman. But maybe one day when you have a loadout that compliments that playstyle (you too could fly).

 

But you’re team lost, so truthfully, you did nothing. A distraction is only effective if your team can kill the enemy while they’re looking at you & damage only matters if you win
