Does fleeting affect the matchmaking?

Hi Everyone,

Maybe you have noticed also, but I have seen the matchmaking go south when I or someone else was fleeting. Is this common or just a hick-up?

This is not complaining about matchmaking in general, just a question about fleeting and if it affects matchmaking.

 

ya even when i fleet wit another neptune this happens(we are a squad of 4 neptunes)
We usually fleet for uild quest as fleeting doubles ur contribution but we end something like and cause we lost it doesnt even count
So ur better off just playing solo

 

I also find myself losing more with fleet...
Something is wrong.

 

Yeah man agreed same happens with me I get more difficult opponents when I fleet with someone.

 

Lol u guys must have heard about this surely:
When u fleet, the lower infamy person has his infamy counted as being the same as the higher infamy fleeter in matchmaking. Therfore if there is a big difference between urselves, usually over 200, u would have to fight at a harder level than normal. So u should fleet with someone with the infamy as u.

 

I did played with same player..it still harder than solo...

 

Yes I've noticed this as well, thought it was just me

 

Rn, when I fleet with a guildie with similar infamy, we’re winning every battle.....it’s so refreshing! So in my case fleeting is a benefit!

 

Here in Brazil we call it lack of chemistry some fleets work great because your playstyles increases each other results, some just don't. C'est la vie

 

That’s probably due to bad synergy you have with your fleet mate. I fleet with different people all the time. Some I perform really well with, others I don’t. If your absolutely going to continue to fleet with someone you always underperform with, then I suggest you go over replays together and figure how you can make better plays together. The game does not match you against more difficult players.

 

This my friend is good teamwork. Like how RainbowWarrior put it. Some players work together better than others due to chemistry. What makes up good chemistry? Possibly you and your fleeter make plays in games that compliment each other’s playstyles.

 

I will also post a video of a GREAT EXAMPLE OF GOOD TEAM CHEMISTRY as “RainbowWarrior” puts it. I don’t mean to shamelessly plug myself but I have no better recent example. So here watch this short video.

Here two battles in a row, again fleetingen unbalances the matchmaking:

Friends:
3x mk4
1x mk3
1x mk1

Unfriends
1x mk5
3x mk4
1x mk3

So, two stronger boats in the opposing team which does not have fleeters.

Not only that, but why do we get two sets of fleeters in our team and the other team none? Just like one of the battles I posted in the beginning of this thread.

I only play 10 battles a day, sometimes even less. So, I am not cherry picking this from 100s of battles. I got 4 out off 10 battles I played in two days with fleeters.

Please Devs, could you take a look at this?

I like fleeting and with some people we work together well and support each other. But I fleet also with others who just fight their own battle and I know they do a good job, but they don't stay with me or have my back. I tried to keep an eye on them, but it just does not work, so I do my bid and he is doing his. But that is fine also!

 

That works too...Still working together mostly have upper hand.
