Speeders are dying

As we all know, the speeder ship has REPEATEDLY been nerfed. Do you think it is time for a bit of a re- buff?

 

I've been using my speeder a lot lately, since everybody on the bay is now using my enfo setup (the red bit anyway) and I've become rather fed up with it.
I can get up around 5k without too much worry, same as my enfo.
I'm f2p so I don't have double (or even single) epic tesla shields, which are what really give enfo the edge.

I figure if my infamy stays the same whether I play speeder or enfo there's probably a fair balance in there somewhere.

Speeder is fixer most dreadful opponent.

I think defense points should be increased, but nothing else. Speeder is so easy to kill now.

 

You are the F2P who played 20K+ games, at least that would give people idea it's not easy to build a solid enfo without money..

Still not even 1 epic shield after 2 years.

 

Its fine.Enough of these threads.Enforcer was crap for too long with absurd slot distribution and low speed.Enfo was given a buff as a counter to speeders who were OP.
The only ship which needs a buff is defender which has been neglected for too long

 

Speeder is the most balanced it’s ever been imo. It’s days of being top dog are finally over but that’s fine. The boat just has a very high skill cap so you kinda have to be dedicated solely to it otherwise you might not do so well. Even coming back to play for the first time in a day is a struggle for me, I need a few games to get a groove in/warm up.

 

That's interesting that you mention that. Now that I'm working on infamy more than gold/sugar I absolutely refuse to get off my speeder or tweak it's set up in any way. I very much feel like I need endless practice. Also interesting that you mention your first few matches being problematic. The same is true of me. I feel like the first 3 are guaranteed losses and after that things start improving.

Yes, I would say Speeder needs to get its health and defence buffed, but keep agility and speed same. One thing, however, is that maybe u could just pimp up the speed on MK3 and MK 4 speeders. That would be great.

 

Enforcer with fully upgraded flare gun can easily break Speeder Tesla shield now

Reverse is true as well.So enforcers need some help by your logic.
Last update nerfed the enforcer indirectly.So lets wait before making any concluions.

 

A frost buff would make me happier than a speeder buff, right now

 

Lol I find speeders the eaisest to battle these dyas. My tier 3 rare and tier 1 epic tapes are enough to skill up any speeder. Their low life and defense gets screwed by my carronade. They are too weak. They need a buff, and I would know as I used to use speeder. Lol if it aint for flare plus blast, no one would be using speeder at all.

Bring back frost- easiest way( helps other ships as well)- can even help fixers with one item combo.

 

Well after all, carro is the natural speeder counter.
