    Either that or you have dropped so low in infamy that your game simply thinks you are tanking. When the game thinks you are tanking, it makes the rewards from battle lower.

    That’s a load of crap. As a defender only player I’ve lost 1000+ imfany since the previous update and now I’m on a 5-30 run while getting dealing the most damage in 70% of the battles all the while having a big blue bullseye on my back. And now you are telling me the game thinks I’m tanking and is penalizing my rewards. That’s BS!!!!!!

    He is correct, drop 800 infamy in a season and you will be flagged for tanking and rewards be taken way.

    I'm pretty sure it's "Career high" not "within a season". I sure do wish the devs would clarify that. I tried to ask once and gave up understanding the answer so I just said YOLO and I'll uninstall if I get caught by it.

    No disrespect to Supreme. I appreciate you letting me know what’s going on. My hostility is towards the game. I’m bustling my butt trying to win every game and you can imagine my frustration in going 5-30 coupled with this new development of being accused of cheating by a “game”. I’ve actually won the last three battle, put out the highest damage, sunk three ships each time and didn’t get any stars and only 5000 gold. That my friend is a load of crap.

    Mika — I find it insulting that you (and you being The Game) would accuse someone of cheating without actually reviewing the Battle Logs. I’m sure it is quite simple to run a script to see where someone ranks in damage dealt/ships sunk in each battle before slapping them with a pelality.

    As @Miika stated the exact algorithm is not known to avoid people bending it to their advantage.

    It used to be believed it was 800 below your career high but then Rovio lightened the blow by resetting it after a set time period to avoid people getting stuck in no man's land.

    @Carl2801 just keep doing what you can to win and try and pull yourself out of the tank zone, easier said than done I know.

    Fair enough. I kind of suspected it was kept under wraps for just that reason. Thanks for taking the time to clarify... at least as much as you can.

    I will say this. As much as I fear that penalty now that I'm no longer tanking, so far at least 550 points is the worst drop I've seen. An average "bad hair day" is about 350 points. So far, at least, the fear has been unwarranted.

    You just have to climb back up above the magical limit... 800 or so we all thought. The system matches you against your high point while you're trying to do that. Apparently, you can also wait some undetermined amount of time and it may reset itself.
