    Things are, of course, different at different infamy ranges. I'm fighting at the 2k-ish mark right now and so far I don't think it's a problem. Sure, I'm seeing more mines than I used to but it's not many matches where I find entire areas impassable. It happens but it's rare.

    A potential buff for frost launcher could be to be able to temporarily disarm any mines in the blast zone for a short period of time (just enough to travel through the area). It would make sense that frost could freeze the mines and stop them exploding. However, to make it not OP, it would need to have a time limited effect as I suggest.

    I play at 3k+ here mines hit for atleast 3000:D. I have never assumed that mine is friendly. I can digest the fact that small passages been blocked etc. But 8 9 mines in front of you in first minute of the match:oops:.
    People lobbing it over walls in crash n burn. I have no problems with mines tbh. But its usage has gone rapidly up, hence in need to balance.

    I get that mines are not direct fire and therefore they should deal a lot of damage. But epic mines can deal up to 4500pts... I’m sorry but that’s way too much, in play mk5 speeder in 3700 and I almost get instant killed.

    4906 to be precise a T5E mine can even 1 shot a mk6 speeder.

    I've found that "Mines" don't deal same damage vs all ships, this has nothing to do with the defence or the perks to your ship!
    There's a uneven damage given across all ships.
    VS speeder my mines do full damage 3700 with a epicT4 mine at lv40
    VS enforcer full damage
    VS shooter 90% damage
    VS fixer full damage
    VS defender my mines only do 3200 damage when it should do nearer to 3700

    I can't see how a defender will have 500 defence shield points??? Because otherwise half the game cannons won't do any damage vs them .
    This is against a defender with full HP so please don't tell me it only had 3200HP and therefore only 3200 HP could be deducted!
    The defenders I am up against had 10k HP or more and after the first mine they hit they had 6.8k HP left.
    Can the devs please explain that?
    Why should I bother to upgrade to tier 5 with my mines if they don't deal the damage they should? Thx

    There is a possible variation of +/- 10% to the damage dealt from the given numerical damage value of every weapon in the game, on every hit.
    Nothing to do with the class of ship that you hit, although the defender's increased defence doesn't help you there.
