Suggestions for speeder setup plz

I'm a mk4 speeder, and I'm at 300-500 infamy rather than 1000-1500 infamy. Either my setup sucks or it's the dang matchmaking

 

@TheAntiSnipe or another pro speeder, plz gimme suggestions for a speeder setup

Uh lol u need much better items as a whole. I dang got to 1000 with tier 2 rares but now u will probbaly need tier 3s. I cant even get past 2000 with a legendary weapon, all I say is better items are needed.

 

Stop blaming matchmaking for everything. It's probably your setup; at mk4 you shouldn't really be using T1 or even T2 uncommons.

 

He is a enforcer now. There are precious few speeders left in this game.

 

But now I have no speed

 

Swap a turbo for the bandage, not both for big shield. And yeah I’d say ditch the Carronade, it’s especially weak without the captain talents. That sniper, grenade, ex cannon will prob work well. Don’t worry too much about your setup atm, just focus on leveling up.

For what you have, use the sniper and EC for weapons. Your yellow items are fine. Replace the uncommon turbo with a bandage.

Here are some tips for you. OB is very important for a speeder. Always start your OB before appearing to the enemies so you can shoot your weapon instead of cool down. Try to make the enemies turn around to shoot at you. Make them have to track you. Charge in in an angle where you can run away quickly. That means you don't have to turn around slowly. Know where you can hide while your weapons reload.

 

Definitely switch out that carronade, they're extremely weak early on. I remember trying to use a t2 uncommon carronade at 1k infamy and I'd just circle around enemies dealing like 5 damage per projectile. If you really want to use a carronade, wait until each projectile does at least like 100 or so. Especially when your only other weapon is a mine, you're going to want a much more reliable weapon.

 

Alright. So my setup now is rare bandage, epic turbo, epic sniper cannon, rare ex cannon (lv 10) uncommon T2 OB ( it's something!) rare nitro.

 

I like this setup.

 

I like basically anything paired with my grenade on speeder. Big torp, tritorps, bc, sniper, excannon or my other grenade all do well, even mine at a push.
I like tritorps best at the moment though, great for smashing up the enfos currently everpresent.
