So... On my end, I see a lot of speeders. And I'm in ace 1 as well. And boy, they are so hard to kill, especially when everyone is focused on the distant fixer rather than the close combatting speeder. In ace 1, it gets weird, pal. Your teammates can be so good at one point that they can take any opponent with ease, and they can also be a hassle to manage at another point, like trying to herd a bunch of untamed donkeys (no offense @Eeyore )

 

I was just congratulating you for having the guts to show your face publicly. It something not everyone can do.

I agree that most items should be re-buffed. The tesla bolt feels pretty good right now if you get the cooldown talents and have it last at least maybe 8 seconds. I think it needs some sort of kick to buff its early game, maybe nerf the perks and buff the base duration.

I definitely agree on the point of giving all ships defense as well as more hp, and defense needs a buff. Weapons seem to grow in strength much more quickly than our ship's durability. I understand if the devs want to keep the game short but as it is now players are always second guessing their ability to fight and make it out alive which is making many people play in a very campy way. Those who actually rush in tend to get deleted.

Also the 20 hitpoint perk gives you 20 hp, not 20 damage.

For me (the worst player in the bay) its not the lack of speeders. Its the stupid lack of speeders who dont use blast and flare. For gods sake it gets real boring out here, no variation that I have started using fixer instead, and try to kill those speeders. Its funny when my fixer chases those guys. They usually scarper when they see how much daamge my legendary carronade can do while see me healing my hp back up while their health goes down.

 

That’s why frost needs to come back. The flare cannon is the only thing that works for this game as a speeder, and its getting annoying

 

My grenade/tritorp speeder does pretty well..

 

Yes I like that cause it is unexpected, most people wont expect it so they might not do as well.
