Ballpark Mortar

ballpaark needs a buff, it’s too weak to have that radius and cooldown.

 

Nope, its better than LRM which is better than berta which better than worst std mortar ..

 

It does the least amount of damage, it has the longest cooldown. Standard mortar kicks ass becasue of its short cooldown and higher damage. Berta is awesome because you are bund to deal a crap ton of damage with that one. And it isn’t not even as close to being as good than long range because it’s damage doesn’t measure up, and it doesn’t have the range. Do the stats.

Standard is not the worst mortar. Ballpark is.

 

Standart is the worst. Have the same problem than big berta, damage drastically reduced when dont hit close the point

 

Look at the talent tree, ballpark gets +40% damage on top of universal mortar damage talents, whereas the standard mortar only gets +20% & -2 s cooldown. On a shooter, which is the boat most likely to use one of these mortars, cooldown is not much of a problem. Also, almost every time, standard mortar will do less damage than the ballpark.

And Berta sucks at higher levels because you can't even land a hit do to higher turbo levels

 

Add 40% more damage to the ballpark mortar and it barely goes over the standard. Then add the 20% more damage to the standard mortar ad it blows ballpark away with its projectile speed and cooldown. Yes, a way better mortar

 

I had a battle the other day where one guy had 4 legendary ones. He annihilated most of the team.

 

The low damage dealt by the ballpark mortar is made up for by the blast radius.

 

I know, but it’s such weak damage.

Would you rather have high damage over small area which requires serious skill to do anything with it or low damage over a big area which don't require so much skill?

Just lead your shot, It takes three seconds for both mortars to land. 3.5 for a long range to land. And 4 for a Berta. I’m very accurate and I’m also dissatisfied with ballparks damage.
