And now I'm gonna wait for some other guys to show their ignorance and tell me that guilds with lvl40 guys are not weaker than guilds with lvl50s. lol It's a common sense that the lvl50s can do quests a lot faster, while the lvl40s or less have to put an insane amount of time and boosts to stand a chance against them

A lvl 40 F2P player is not equal to a lvl 40 whale. Matching based on captain level will only hurt F2P players.

As if a f2p lvl40 is equal to a lvl50, which is exactly happening right now. Matchmaking is already hurting a lot of players if you know that. Peoples pay to get advantage, so if they are having that weapon strength advantage then let them have it otherwise why would people pay for ?

    Reorge,
Yes, it's common sense that the current guild rivalry system is a disaster. It makes no logical sense to match guilds on number of quests completed because some guilds have to work twice as hard to complete the same number of quests, if their opponents have weapons that do double that damage of your own weapons.
Infamy is the average measure of strength, determined based upon strength of weapons, captain level, ship level, etc. You can disagree all you like, but the Infamy system isn't that bad, it can be frustrating, but it is fairly accurate. If you put a random team of 3000 infamy guys against a random team of 2000 infamy guys, I would say the 3000 infamy guys would win 95% to 99% of the time.
Infamy should be the basis determining rivalries. The new system only benefits HIGH RANKED, lower activity guilds. Since they are high ranked but don't complete as many quests as similar ranked guilds, they get matched against lower ranked guilds with lesser ships and weapons. So the HIGHER ranked guilds might be able to complete 48 quests in 5000 battles. The LOWER ranked guild has to complete 7000 battles to reach 48 quests. That is really what this comes down to, how many battles must be played to win, and the guild that played the MOST battles or SPENDS the most money, should be entitled to the win.

It is actually ”high level f2p guilds” or guilds that don’t boost enough. In high levels, activity < boosts bought. Being constantly matched against guilds that you knew could complete over 10 quests more kinda ruins the fun, especially since it was mostly because of $$.

I could buy that 3000 infamy players are better than 2000 players, as I consider infamy accurate within 500 points or so. That implies a guild's infamy can be off by as much as 25x500 (12,500), which means it can't be the only input into a rivalry, as it is a VERY rough number.

Exactly, I don't understand why I'm even needing to explain this simple thing. The lower ranked guilds are getting hammered in rivalries right now. I will take the 'InsaneAsylum' guild for example. Their highest number of quests ever completed is only 68 and they got matched up against 'the rebellion' and 'nightmare clan'. So it was a sure loss for 'InsaneAsylum'. They kept losing and many players started to leave their guild, activity declined. I talked to their leader and he said that himself. This is how the new system is affecting the guilds.
Rivalry based on infamy was a good thing. But I would suggest Guild Rivalries should based on Captain levels instead, that would be a lot more accurate and better. This new matchmaking system is ruining the guilds and killing all the fun.
