    standard mortar is very good, it currently does about 20 more dps than the E cannon

    Standard Mortar is garbage. It is by far the worst weapon for mid-late game. DPS means nothing. Global DPS is all that matters.

    good on enforcer?, and it reloads decently fast which is good on defender/shooter. Plus, I don't want to get rid of my lv 21 epic standard mortar. I say it's good

    It is better than the Jingle Bells........





    Don't get rid of it. Use it if it's the highest thing you've got. It can definitely be used effectively, it is just not quite as good as the other two 1-point mortars.

    On the topic of shooters, cooldown doesn't matter when you have 5 weapons. You wanna grab the biggest guns and try to have a decent amount of variety to expand your firing range (not just distance). Have at least 1 cannon of any kind (standard is ok if it is your only cannon) as they are the most reliable weapons against speeders attacking you directly.

    I changed my shooter set up once i realized cooldown doesnt really matter at mk5 :)

    I have a lv 40 sniper and swift torpedo with it. I have a lv 10 epic flare which does squat on other ships and it hardly buffs my sniper. I think I'm using GenkiGamer's loadout 2

    It definitely can matter in close-range combat if you have a few long-range items aren't even usable. A couple Ex-Canons in that situation will have you waiting a while to reload while you are getting pummeled.

    This is basically what I would consider the meta shooter. Sniper + Railgun + Firebomb + Swift Torp + ??? = Range, Damage, DPS, Mortar, Fire Boost, Close Range. Hard to think of a better setup.

    Not only do you get more resources, but even if incendiaries don't help your setup as much, your teammates that do rely on incendiaries will love you. I go nuts when I find a shooter with a firebomb, even if they're just mortar spammers. Incendiaries give great rewards for a reason, guys. I highly recommend at least 1 incendiary on any shooter.

    Perfect setup for Shooter Mk6/7 is
    2x Snipers
    1x explosive canon
    1x RailGun
    1x Firebomb

    I play it all the time without issues.
    You can go 3x sniper / railgun / Fb
    2x sniper / railgun / 2x Fb

    I change some time but that the right setup.

    You will always need fire with canons / if you don’t have snipers try blast in place I’m trying blast now and it’s fine. Depends if you like range or close combat.
