Godly weapon setups ( shooter)

Not always for the reasons you're expecting tho

 

Make sure a Fire Bomb or Flare Gun is in whatever setup you want. Not because these items are over-powered, but because these items allow you to gain more resources.

 

Stars/Gold/Sugar from battle rewards. Fire boosts these rewards.

Your setup is fine for now. Don't put too much into the Standard Cannon and Standard Mortar because they are not very good at higher infamy. You want mostly high damage, high cooldown weapons.

 

Explosive Cannon doesn't get really powerful until later in the Bhurt talent tree (Lv21+) when you unlock a series of +20% and +10% damage boosts in a short sequence of levels. At earlier levels, Blast Cannon tends to see more use.

With that said, an Explosive shot will still do significantly more damage than the standard cannon (2x) per hit, but it won't shoot nearly as often.

I would build them in tandem - when you hit Mk4, you're going to have four red slots and six points, so you'll probably end up with Standard Cannon, Sniper, Explosive, and Firebomb. You'll also have 3BB blue slots, so that Big Shield will probably be what you want to use going forward (and pray to RNGesus for a duplicate!)

 

Yes. As Chris said, your Explosive Cannon won't really be as good as it can be until later in the training. However, in the meantime you can be doing damage with it towards your Legendary mission. And it'll still be better than a Standard Cannon.

RNG = Random Number Generator. It is basically "luck" in a video game. In this case, we refer to RNG as how lucky you are to get the items that you want. So pray to "RNGesus" that he blesses with you with a duplicate.
