Carronade is one of the unpopular weapons. There is some reason of it, mostly the limited range. Some shooters using it for defensive purposes especially against speeders but i don't see much carros for offensive play styles. I attribute that to carro's weakness to ships with high defense. Defense is affecting carronade too much than other weapons. That forced you to upgrade your carronade high levels. Also rare carronade is too weak to work well so you have to build an epic or legendary.
Well, is everything bad about carronade? Of course not. It is very effectice to destroy low defense ships, speeders, enforcers and fixers. So i have an buff idea to be used more for offensive styles. Carronade should have a base crit chance like all other weapons and general cannon crit chance perks should be used with too. That crits will calculate separately each projectiles. Crits will deal full damage instead of 2x damage like other cannons. Like we know carro is very deadly against low defense ships, so that crits won't affect them but give a nice power for defenders and some defansive shooters. If player chooses to be more effective against that ships, he will lose power cause he can't use current strong carro damage perks. So game balance won't be shake but give carronade a good change. That can increase popularity of our only shotgun.
Thanks to @The Otherguy and @Da Carronade King for creating that idea.

So, what do you think guys, please reply.

I can't see anything wrong with it. I like the idea of each projectile having a separate crit, as this would make crits more frequent, but less damaging.

1.But is it really worth sacrificing my damage perks, which get's rid of 15 damage points off my carronade?
    2. What's more important, full damage potential or crit chance?
    3. How much crit will i get?
    4. Will taking off my damage perks affect the crit?
    5. Which of the two perks are better?

Answer my questions, i may reconsider.

If you make this weapon stronger, at least give it a frost affect so you can combo it with a torpedo! :)

Lol you right, i calculated right now and i see there is not enough crit chance to beat current +9 damage perks. When i tried %50 crit chance, their damage comes equal so it doesn't make sense. sorry for miscalculation.
So, i see that idea is uncomplete. If you guys have ideas about carro please share. Thank you all.

If its good enough to beat 3 uncommon perks I will use those crit perks as I have found getting epic carronade damage perks really hard to get. It will only be a small buff but might make less advanced players use it more. For the higher up players, I dont really know.
