How to restore my account on new device?

    Well... couldn't find anything related, sorry.
    My phone died, so there is no access to any data inside it.
    I've bought a new one, installed Battle Bay and thought that I will get my old account as soon as I log in with Google Play Games... but no, it just started a new one!
    How can I restore my old account???

    Oh, nevermind. It did actually ask me AFTER that annoying tutorial. ffs

    I've had it do both - sometimes the tutorial runs, other times it syncs before the tutorial starts, relaunches the game, and I'm back where I left off.

    Glad it's working though. For extra safekeeping, record your account ID from within the Settings and save it as a Google Keep note or similar. If you really lose it, you can use that recovery key with the Support team to restore your progress.
