Suiciders losing me big I games

I'm tiret of these guys running in and just dying. He made no chance to avoid any shots just sat in capture. I'm getting -26 to -28 infamy on these games. It's bull.

Share it and let management see it. We or should I say , the rest of the team should get to pick one item from their arsenal. I've lost so much because of them. At least 2 million pieces of gold.

Then I looked at the video. Yup, absolutely a flat out suicide. I assume he only bothered to fire whatever so he'd get some reward from it.

You also had some guy floating for an awful lot of the beginning of the match. Your team was down 1.5 people from the start of the match.

Oh lord I had a pure napalm shooter on my team a while ago. It was down to him and a speeder. You can imagine how that went.

Guild Rivalry ends later. I wonder if these guys know that it's no longer about Guild Rank in terms of rivalry.

Anyway, I've played with Diet Coke earlier, rushed into the opponent. Luckily we still won that game.

Imo, floaters and suicide players deserver a harsher punishment. It's just plain stupid that they are remained untouched for what they do.

 

Both are actually trickier than you'd think.

For floaters there are people who drop their connection for whatever reason. For suiciders, it'd take human review of each case to make a determination and if they started doing that people would just get more clever about how they suicide. There is no rule they can make which will fix this. The only thing that will fix it is changing the incentive structure so people are actually rewarded for excellence.

Heh, it's actually a rule I learned in business that I take as an article of absolute truth. If you give humans a set of rules and a set of incentives which conflict with those rules then the incentives will win.... every time. It's the old adage, "talk is cheap". Well, Rovio tells me to play as hard as I can but what they pay me to do is quite different. In this game the incentives are very strongly in favor of being a high level captain fighting low level foes. So far, every single time I have pushed my infamy I have bankrupted myself and I need to recover or progression stops. So much for being rewarded for excellence.
