Why Unfriends always have more Mk5 boats on their teams than the Friend?

There is a lot of discussion about the matchmaking. I don't want to start a new one, but I hope this thread will not be deleted or closed.

Questions is why do I get more mk5s against me than in my team? Check out the screenshots.

 

Yes, but if you take a look at these battles, then it does not matter that they have one weaker boat, the rest will make up for it big time.

It is just no fun anymore.

 

The first 2 battles were the exact same battle.

 

Sadly it is exactly the same with my other account, even worse. With my mk2 I am amidst 9 mk5s.

Honestly, take it as a compliment that the game considers you good enough to face these players. Play your best, learn from your mistakes, watch the replays of your losses to see what mistakes you made or what the unfriends did better. Soon it’ll be you on the other side of this debate.

I do get the matchmaking cannot be 100%, but I don't get why it happens so many times. My infamy isn't that high, so that cannot be it. And with my mk2 account, I was amongst 9x mk5s. It happened with my Shooter and with my Fixer. Their weapons did 500 - 1200 damage and I can only heal 225 hp at a time. So, it makes no sense whatsoever. Their weapons are so strong, that just one shot is impossible, let alone heal 4 ships.

It was just like putting a bandage on a fractured arm.

 

We have several accounts in the family, this is a battle I played with Flintje. The very first battle:

Got hit by a Rail gun which did 1376 damage or thereabouts, that is almost 3x more than my strongest weapon.

It is just not right the balance in the games. Are Unfriends bots sometimes I ask myself?

How it is, please Devs fix this unbalance in the game. I have shown you plenthy of proof it is off.

 

Same thing happened with me...railgun did 1.2 around and then another hit me...and i died...my hp was 1.6 k...lol....
I blame myself for that though...i went too ahead....but i didnt see any unfeiends....maybe spammer.......0 0 0...

 

Come to nightmare league and you'll be greeted with railguns dealing 2.7-3.7k ( :

 

It is getting to a point that is ridiculous.

And they have a Fixer, so impossible to win. Got shot again with an 800 dmg weapons or more. Mine do much less.

Is this came rigged? Or am I being punished for speaking out?

Please, Devs give a response to my complaints. PLEASE! See, how many battles are unbalanced?

 

Yep you are being punished for speaking out. You have to shut up now or it will only get worse.

You are too good and too skilled that Rovio decided to step up and prevent you for causing any more havoc in the bay.

 

I promised myself to ignore this silly post, but its getting too ridicules to keep quiet.

1. Amount of Fixers pr team does not affect winrates in any significant manner. Them always having a fixer is not a good (nor bad) thing. If you lose more against fixers then rethink how you handle those matchups, cause in average players have very close to 50% winrates in 0 fixer Vs 1 fixer matchups.

2. The fixerquote is a fine illustration of what is going on here though. The human mind isnt wired to accept personal shortcomings, so instead we look for external patterns to blame.

Do you honestly think the devs spend time rigging the matchmaking personally against you? No, right? Noone is that stupid.

You lost some games, your brain decided to find a random pattern to blame. Ill offer you some advice though. Focus on what you can affect, which is your own performance and how you handle various matchups.
I know its easier to blame something other than yourself, but noone made it anywhere in this world by sitting in a corner and crying about how unfair they feel everything is.

 

Complete nonsense what you are telling!

1. it was meant sarcastically that I said am I being punished.
2. I know my short comings, please don't tell me how I am wired or think.
3. I am not crying, but the matchmaking sucks, it is unbalanced as you can see.
4. losing so much is not down to 1 person.
5. why else has everybody a winrate of 50% plus or minus 2%? If it all came down to one person there should be people winning 70% of the battles.
6. having a good Fixer in your teams is always better. I have had battles where there was 1 Fixer left and 1 Mk5 Shooter and We were with 2 Mk4 Shooters. He or she was healing the Mk5 Shooter so fast, that we could not fire fast enough to sink them.
7. noone in the world made it anywhere without speaking out of something that isn't right.

Not that badly, all of the screenshots the sum of ship marks was only 1 difference, not enough to be the deciding

But it doesn’t. There are 4 other players in you team and 5 in the unfriends.

You are losing firepower. You just have to play smart and focus on the most important target first
