kill stealing

Who else hates it when u have 4 kills done, and u so close to the penta, but some other ships hangs around waiting for health to be low to steal the kill.. so annoying. I did 25k and had 4 kills recently, my last shot was in the air when someone else used their sniper

 

So what do you want from forum?

Relax, everyone needs kills for their achievements/quests.

 

Blame it on quests requiring kills with certain weapons.

 

True everyone wants kills

 

Especially the low damage weapons

 

I almost took last hit here. but suppress myself last minute in-case of sudden critical kill. xD

Dude 10pentas are alot. I'm barely around 4, and all of them with 5 weapon slot shooter. Got tetra mostly.

 

Wow. Well 10 in 4000 battles aint much. Yeah most of mine are shooter. But got 2 with defender and an enforcer i believe

 

Yeah but I'm almost 10k match and at Ace1 rn. Plus more than half my match using shooter just for grinding and infamy tank.

 

And im just an ace 3

 

i ended up lose when all my teamate waiting for a kill while enemy team working hard on damage. ended up my team wiped out after someone finally got the kill. lol

 

That sounds really frustrating

 

No... freakin.... way! You honestly have no pentakills? Heh, there's been more than a few times I've gotten a few in a single week. You suck dude!

More seriously, why does anyone care? I assume you get some tiny boost in rewards for the achievement. As bragging rights it's dubious at best. I don't have a single penta-kill that wasn't mostly me finishing off enemies that my team had already wounded. The mortar/torp boats did their job. I did mine. Heck, on ANY match that goes reasonably well I expect to get 2 or more kills just because that's the specific role I adopt and the weapons I have. I've gotten 3 kills and lowest damage... more than once LOL.

No wait. There was one where I was also the high damage scorer by a large margin. On one hand I was pretty proud of that but again, in sober analysis what it meant was I played well and pretty much everyone else on both teams played abysmally.

 

I'm around 30-40 Pentakills. Once I get the first 3 kills of the match and I see it can easily be won I just measure my shots so that I get the last 2 kills and the penta.

I'm greedy IK My Kill ratio is 0.89 btw

 

Let's face it, you all steal other kills all the time... it just doesn't bother you until someone steals yours

IMO, I'd gladly give over my penta-kill for a win any day because I love it when my teammates kill unfriendlies! Far too often I lose I'm the only one with kills... 1...2...3...4 it's all frustrating. Just last night, I had another a quad-kill loss... why you ask? Because the 4 other shooters couldn't manage a single kill between them, leaving me 1 vs 3.

That's actually really good...mine has been stuck at 0.88 for most of my BB career. One of the keys is to equip finishing weapons. Too often when I'm dead and watching my remaining teammate(s) trying to get a kill, it's really tough to watch them missing wild torp shots, flailing with mortar miss-after-miss on a speeder, and can't get close for grenade/carronade on a faster boat. If you are not equipped to finish a match you are going to look like a fool if the entire match is on your shoulders.
