Hehe, good morning to you :)

You are absolutety right, my guild is mostly f2p and have a very relaxed attitude towards how active members needs to be. This approach absolutety made us guaranteed losers when matched up against Resistance and likewise.

Now we compete against other guilds that complete # of quests that match our level of activity and boost buying.

I can fully understand that its an annoying change for the guilds that were used to winning weekly against other lowlevel guilds with less active (+$$$ spending) guilds. At some point this entitlement whine needs to stop though. You arent special snowflakes that are so amazing that any system where you dont always win has to be flawed, sorry.

Imagine you have a job someone works half as hard, but gets paid the same. The company’s stance is that that person is working as hard as they’re comfortable. It’s no harm to you, right? And imagine you decide to lower your effort level, and the company pays you LESS than that lazier co-worker because it knows that you were “comfortable” working harder before. Would you be fine with that?

It’s obvious from you your last post that you don’t actually understand. It’s all about fairness—it’s that simple. Lazy guilds shouldn’t be rewarded for being lazy. No one thinks they’re entitled.

But weren’t you the person that whined originally “my guild never wins because we keep getting matched against better guilds”? And you’re calling someone else a snowflake? LMAO

Alright guys, keep it civil and constructive. Let’s focus on what we’d like to see changed to improve this game rather than complaining about how it is now.

I think guild matchmaking should be based on Quests and Infamy. This should be a good compromise, although it will never be possible to appease everyone.
I then think that it would be fair to scale the end of rivalry rewards based on the strength of the guilds. Maybe average infamy across all 6 guilds. Or based on quests completed. Whichever is fine. But the minimum 1st place reward should start at 42,000. And the maximum shouldn’t be exorbitant. Maybe 84,000 max.

I throw in my 2 cents that guild matchmaking should take into account both Quests completed (activity) and Infamy – right now, the infamy range is way too wide between the 6 guilds (albeit based only on the 2 previous rivalries since V2.8) if only based on the quests completed. A narrower Infamy range would help eg 25 quests completed, Infamy range 5,000 - 10,000 could be one "group" and then guilds matched within that group.
Right now, we are not well-informed as to how Rovio does the guild matchmaking other than the blurb in the update notes with simply states matching against similiarly-active guilds.
