Just need to make a "punishment of 800 dc" for guild quests and the issue will be resolved!

Raise the nightmare reset to 4500-5000. This cycle begins every season reset. This will allow more people to rise. Sure the bar will keep growing, at that point it will need to be adjusted again. But in the mean time, this will bring more people closer to the end game, rather than creating a stagnant cycle

I'm not arguing since I don't understand the dynamics of this well enough to argue but I am confused. Even if they reset everyone down to zero every two weeks logically all that would happen is that people would quickly sort themselves out. Is it that two weeks isn't enough time to accrue the wins for that sorting to happen? That might make sense for anyone who doesn't play as much as I do. But even that, in theory, should just distribute people in tighter bands above 4k. That would, in turn, put downward pressures on lower infamies but that pressure would diffuse as it extended downwards. It doesn't seem reasonable that there isn't enough room between... say.... 2k and 4k for the M5 and M6's to sort themselves out leaving the 4k+ area for the pro's. So then why the superabundance of M5 and M6 boats below 2k? That's the part that I don't understand about pressure driven answers is it just doesn't seem to explain nearly enough push down.

I still favor the min/max economic theories about why people do this and not just because that's why I've done it. The economic answers would apply all the way down the food chain... arguably getting stronger the disparity between actual capability and measured infamy. As near as I can tell the best answer min/max is to be in a M7 boat with all legendaries fighting at 200 infamy. Every time I make a push I bankrupt myself pretty quickly. That's only going to stop when gear starts getting fully leveled up.

I think @*JAWS* was definitely on the mark though when he said this.
The infamy situation is so bad that it's easy to believe there are a variety of root causes driving it.

Supercell has constantly raised the bar in clash royale and it has worked perfectly

Another possible solution for this could be to reset everyone’s points at every leage. For example, once you reach ACE 1, if at the end of the season you end up with 3800pts, you automatically get your points restarted to 3000 unless you reach the next level. And so with every level.

Also check this post I made related with this topic: https://forum.battlebay.net/threads/battle-reward-percentage.16914/

It’s just another idea to solve the problem of people dropping points to play easier games.
