Aside from the difficulty of obtaining all the duplicates, do you guys believe these builds can be very effective and versatile?
With 5 snipers there is not cooldown time and I would recommend a mix of Range, crit chance and crit damage perks to maximize effectiveness.
Imagine fire of these firing non stop.
    Base stats:
    700 dmg
    11.1 sec CD
2k crit (1 crit dmg perk)
    56 Projectile speed
    48 Range(1 range perk)
30% crit chance( 2 crit chance perk)

Now for players who have very good shot leading skills and want more consistent damage they can run a 5 blast cannon build. For this build I recommend all range perks or 3 range and 1 crit chance
Now imagine 5 of these firing nonstop.
    Base stats:
    1350 damage
    11.1 sec CD
    25.8 projectile speed
37.5 or 35 range (All Range Perks or 3 range perks)
1% or 5.5% crit(I recommend one crit perk because it is 550% increase)

Really want to see someone run these builds, should be absolutely insane.

Personally I would rather go for sniper cannon DAMAGE over crit damage because it both increase s normal shots and critical shots damage and basically make them superlong range unperked blast cannon:D:D

There’s one players who’s name I don’t remember that runs 5 snipers including a legendary one.

As for the blasts, I have 3 maxed, one legendary with 3 epic fire perks (+36%), a epic one lv40 with 3 crit perks (+4,5%) and 1 increase crit damage (20%) and a rare one lv40 with normal +damage perks. I normally use flare and a mortar to finish the build.

With these three I can already face defenders pretty well... but it’s difficult af to use them properly. You have to change your play style.

I totally recomend using the +crit change perks in the epic blast, works great. With the +crit damage perk I do +2000 damage and I normally do between 1 and 2 critical shots per battle. Depending on how many shots I land with the epic cannon.

My old guild leader had an all blast cannon shooter set up but later changed to include explosive cannons too. It just happens that his best friend (also in the same guild) runs all snipers. From what I remember, the all blast guy paid about 6k (idk what currency) and would suicide like a defender using a shooter and do lots of damage before dying. Watching his successful replays where he finished off straying enemies one by one was so satisfying as he had so many blast cannons that he could just fire them off like a machine gun. Unfortunately I think most of his games are just one man army deaths. Recently about 1-2 months ago he started to use defender but I don't know how if he did well as I had already quit the guild. Since then I managed to find him but he's inactive. For the sniper guy he would play more tragically, acting like a normal shooter but then suddenly rush into the enemy. I don't know why he would do that, but he also does a good amount of damage before dying (although he would have been more helpful alive than dead). As of the last time I saw him he changed his set up to include more variety.

Overall I don't think they are very good as they are only good situationally. Using more variety of weapons like mortars, torpedoes etc will result in better battles as you can react better to more situations.

5 blast cannons with 37.5 range each should be able to perform in any situation.

Yeah but won't perform as well as sniper or railgun at 30+ range, nothing to shoot over walls with, no good burst or aoe damage. Overall would be a funny build, and not the worst build but certainly not the best xD

Not always, personally I think they are harder to aim at long range. Also, what if people hide behind walls and lob mortars? e.g. crash and burn. Or when the 2 teams are at a stalemate and no one wants to go into the "death zone" between them?

37.5 range is more range than most weapons people carry in game. If they play on the edge of their range And hit all their shots, the only weapons enemies can fight back with are snipers and rails. I can see this working out. I would argue burst damage is fine, 1.3k dmg every 2.5 seconds is nothing to laugh about.

37.5 range is a very comfortable range to shoot people at while being able to avoid alot of weapons enemies usually run. No flare, no ex c, no blast, definitely not torps, and even a long range mortar with no range perks cant reach you. While you are spamming 1.3k dmg hits every 2.5 secs enemies who happen to pack a sniper or railgun have to wait ages for their reload. I think it's a very good build if you are smart with your positioning and always shoot at the max range, of course you have to be very very skilled at leading shots.

I mean if your opponents are gonna stand still or stay going same direction constantly, then I guess it'll work, but at 37.5 range I'm guessing the average player can see a bullet coming and reverse/dodge the shot

No way man 25.8 speed is not slow at all.
You try dodging a ex cannon at 20 range with only 19 speed and it's difficult. Reversing is not that easy. Only way I can see people consistently Dodge is if they have a rudder or use nitro.

Well if you are that superb at leading shots, good for you! But I still think the best range to use blast cannon is still mid-close range. I have only ever used blast cannon for experimental builds (none of which I liked), so I wouldn't know. But an all blast build, when used strategically, would definitely deal a lot of damage and give the enemy a nasty surprise.
